00:44how tall the figure's going to stand first i'm actually ordering any of these things from funko's
00:48site directly usually i'm always really ordering a lot of these collectibles from other sites or even
00:52going to local comic book stores first time first time ordering from funko and generally a pretty
00:56smooth experience i have ordered the entire set of four so over the course of several reviews if you
01:01do it the math on that that's obviously going to be three other reviews not counting jason
01:05so we're going to be looking at like i said the entire set of these for how tall jason's going
01:09to
01:09be you're looking at well the tape measure's telling me he's about three and a half inches
01:13that's going to work out to be a figure that's about nine centimeters tall i know not really the
01:17best choice for jason and just to get him to stand here for a second here's what he also looks
01:21like with a regular jason i say regular jason a jason universe jason a regular funko pop of him
01:27speaking also of funko pops here's the funko pop box of the jason universe pop doodles now what i do
01:32like really about these boxes is the fact that even like the boxes themselves look very crude like a
01:36kid drew them out of course you got the image there of jason on the side with a whole bunch

01:40blood splatter and then of course a reminder to us it's not coming up on the calendar just yet i
01:44think
01:44the next friday 13th correct me if i'm wrong is sometime in november mark that on your calendar
01:49as crude of a drawn calendar as that may be move the box to the side though jason is one

01:55have really with the funko pop pop doodles jason is that he doesn't stand very well you have already
02:01probably noticed when i was doing comparisons of him putting him down he seems to weeble a bit i think
02:08it's probably by the way that he's got him stand uh the you see though that that one leg is
02:12kind of a
02:12little further forward than the other and also too by adding the additional treading that they
02:16have on the bottoms of his boots causes a little conflict when it comes to jason standing it's also
02:22rather interesting too that if you look at a regular funko pop jason that he has the axe on this
02:26side
02:27of the figure's body and yet though by memory someone's decided to draw jason with the axe on the
02:32other hand so i just kind of find that rather funny of course still not liking the look of the
02:36chevron this long-sized unibrow it's just terrible on jason it does translate i feel pretty well though
02:44for the funko doodles of him i'm not one that really does get a lot of funko pop figures but
02:49there's something though to be said about these funko doodles i thought looked really kind of cool
02:53it's the fact that he's so offline there's nothing really at all symmetrical about this character even
02:58really though as planned as they tried to get the chevrons lined up on the new jason universe
03:03that there's nothing at all that's consistent here for the doodle version of him and that's the
03:08thing i like the most about it chevrons look very poorly drawn in on the sides of course this one

03:13on the side on the top of his head just looks completely out of line and non-symmetrical i like
03:18also that his eyes look like somebody's taken a marker or maybe even a pencil crayon
03:23and wrote those all in the alignment of the holes can we even count still yeah there's still 13
03:29there's the arrow pointing up and you got the remaining four on the top again like i said he
03:34does have the axe the thing that's kind of also cool about the axe is even like the blood itself
03:37looks like it's been scratched in there with maybe a permanent marker the way that they've also designed
03:43the figure too is that his hand looks so awkwardly holding this axe for a second i had to look
03:49at this
03:49do a double take was his hand facing maybe the other way then i realized though i think those are
03:54supposed to be his fingers wrapped around the handle the other hand looks like it's got the
03:58potential of maybe being jazz hands he's got the same jacket though uh actually that's not true the
04:04jacket though on the doodles version of jason actually looks more like a jacket it looks more
04:08like a shirt on the other one pants very much are different from one another really again it looks
04:13like you gave this to a toddler i mean again i don't want to say like toddlers are incapable of
04:18drawing a good-looking jason vorhees my daughter i'm sure probably could knock it out of the park or
04:22knock it out of the camp but it does look like though you've requested you've gone to a bunch of
04:26kids and just said hey if you can don't look at a source material don't look at anything online
04:31and just from your memory alone draw jason vorhees some kids yells in the background who's jason
04:36vorhees and then you have to of course get out get out right now there is no posability that's one
04:43thing i was really actually expecting these figures to have the other figures also are in the set are
04:49going to be the trick-or-treat sam there's the uh the saw billy the puppet and then there's also
04:53gonna be terrifiers art the clown so i think they they chose pretty good when it comes to the cast
04:57of characters being the big fan of jason vorhees myself i did definitely want to look at this one
05:01first the coloring again looks good for his shirt or slash jacket nice dark and green again like the
05:07boots aren't something we're used to kind of seeing with jason they look more really like hiking
05:10boots than they do actually shoes it's a good-looking figure he again doesn't stand very well
05:18i always kind of feel like when i'm putting him down he wants to you know again like a little
05:22weeble and wobble unlike though the weebles this guy does fall down and falls down a lot a lot what
05:28it does also kind of remind me of too and i'm just going to move this guy over just a
05:31little bit here
05:32it looks like those sites you know those sites that advertise if you submit your kids drawing
05:37they'll probably like send you back something it's either like a statue of that drawing or it's it's a
05:43like it's a plush i i was trying i actually tried to do that once but then i realized i
05:48did the math
05:48on that and it was just way too expensive to submit one of my daughter's drawings and have them send
05:54back a plushie just with again the frequency also that my daughter draws stuff to i think by the time
05:58that i would have saved up the money to buy that and have that delivered to my doorstep my daughter
06:03probably would have then looked at the stuffy and said dad what dad what's this crap i don't think
06:07these at all are crap i i really think that they're fun looking collectibles again this comes from a guy
06:11that generally does not collect a lot of funko pops and yet how many how many really have we
06:16looked at here on this channel a lot a whole lot so i almost feel like i'm i'm saying that
06:21and being
06:21a hypocrite yeah jason universe may not have been my first choice for who i would have picked for jason
06:26but i guess really that's that's the norm that's the status quo moving forward now funko pop again like
06:32the figures though of also the funko pop doodles are a little bit smaller as you can see the head

06:37seems a little bit bigger and he's grossly over proportioned arms just not making much sense
06:43fingers don't look like they really are there in the first place it's it just again looks like a
06:47very rough rough drawing of jason and maybe that's the only reason why i like this figure so much
06:51old mama voice and her sausage fingered special little boy does actually come included some rather
06:57special looking packaging art as well that if you are one that only generally likes to collect your
07:01funko pops and keep them sealed inside of their box those things i'm sure are only going to be
07:06suffocating at least the boxes are pretty cool too they're not just a regular white box funko seem to
07:12really up their ante not just the figures that are inside the box but the package art as well say

07:18you will really about the jason universe design of jason i think one thing that's kind of interesting
07:22about the funko pop doodles is that they took a design that may not be loved by many and they

07:27still an interesting way to recreate him in a different way in different design so it does
07:32really look like either someone young drew out jason or somebody has no artistic skills whatsoever
07:39if you are somebody that has the artistic skills to draw jason that looks like this or even worse
07:43this might this might just be the funko pop vinyl of jason you've been looking for your whole entire life

08:39not one that generally likes funko pops you just despise those things like poison they're just like a
08:44poison to the world and poison to comic book stores if you are one of those individuals is there
