00:00We have river flooding at the Salt River here in northern Missouri.
00:04This is from two days of big complexes of storms, mesoscale convective systems after
00:09the supercells congeal.
00:11They dump prolific amounts of rain, flash flooding converted to river flooding here.
00:16You can even see chunks of debris coming down from the individual flash floods.
00:20And this is probably just the beginning with a lot more rainfall coming tomorrow as well.
00:26So this will certainly set the stage for being a potential flood problem here.
00:31Again, flash and river flooding coming up tomorrow.
00:34We expect more MCS's to form overnight tomorrow night.
00:37Those are going to dump big time rainfall across Missouri into portions of Illinois.
00:42So we certainly need to monitor the hydrological portion of this severe weather event because
00:48there certainly could be a lot more flooding as these MCS's continue to pile up rain and
00:53the water from the individual flash floods piles up into these rivers just like the Salt
00:58River which is at 19 feet right now.
