00:00Vibes, energy, immaculate for Ben Johnson and the Chicago Bears.
00:06What a statement victory.
00:08An ass-kicking.
00:09Sheer domination.
00:11The Chicago Bears are a legit Super Bowl favorite.
00:22Okay, last one here, all right?
00:24Tied for the team leading tackles with six.
00:28He had a sack.
00:31Welcome to the Bears.
00:35Hey, I'm so happy to be a Chicago Bear.
00:39We outfitted them today, man.
00:41You're always going to be a badass, man.
00:43Like I said, I'm happy to be a Chicago Bear.
00:45It's just beginning, bro.
00:47You're going to get better.
00:51You're going to get better.
00:52You're going to get better.
00:57Vibes, energy, immaculate for Ben Johnson.
00:59Ben Johnson and the Chicago Bears.
01:02What a statement victory.
01:04An ass-kicking.
01:05Sheer domination.
01:07The Chicago Bears are a legit Super Bowl favorite.
01:11And what did we say the second they traded for Jeffrey Simmons?
01:16This was a Super Bowl trade.
01:19A Super Bowl move.
01:20If you had doubts, do you believe me now?
01:23When I say statement win, the statement is, it's very easy to look into the crystal ball
01:30and see the Chicago Bears and see the Chicago Bears and Jeffrey Simmons and Caleb Williams hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.
01:38That was awesome.
01:40That was everything.
01:42The Chicago Bears marched into Seattle against the champs, a team that one week before destroyed, humbled, humiliated Patrick Mahomes,
01:56Travis Kelsey, Kenneth Walker, Andy Reid, and the Chiefs.
02:01The Bears crunched them, suffocated them, and the Bears smothered the Seahawks, the defending champs, in the toughest place to
02:11play.
02:11That was everything.
02:13Look at Jeffrey Simmons take over a game.
02:16This cat is unbelievable.
02:17This is why we had to go to the All-22 film on Jeffrey Simmons.
02:23And here's the beauty on Simmons.
02:25He makes everybody else better.
02:28This is exactly what we said.
02:29Jeffrey Simmons is the best defensive player in the NFL this year.
02:33Nobody was paying attention to it because he was languishing for the irrelevant Tennessee Giants.
02:38Now he is a beast unleashed on the national stage, playing in a major market on a team that can
02:45win a Super Bowl.
02:46Look at these numbers.
02:47This is exactly what Ben Johnson was just talking about in his post-game news conference and in the locker
02:55room after the game.
02:56Right from the jump, you saw on the opening drive for Seattle, a sack.
03:01Then he has a tackle for loss.
03:02These numbers, just unreal.
03:04And then Montez Sweat is able to rock and roll because all the attention's on Simmons.
03:10Simmons and Sweat basically living in the backfield for the Seattle Seahawks all night long.
03:17Sam Darnold couldn't function.
03:19The run game couldn't get going.
03:21The offensive line was just picked up Quentin Nelson, by the way.
03:25Completely overmatched by the genius and domination of Jeffrey Simmons and the Chicago Bears.
03:32This was a phenomenal win.
03:35This was a difference-making win in terms of changing the math and the equation on how maybe people who
03:43didn't know would view the Chicago Bears.
03:46We said last week this was a Super Bowl trade.
03:49And we said we love Chicago preseason.
03:52Oh, the Bears are going to take a step back.
03:55Nonsense!
03:55When you have Caleb Williams in his prime year two with Ben Johnson, year three in the NFL, it's go
04:02time.
04:02And look at these numbers.
04:04I want you to stare at this here.
04:06First quarterback in Bears history to lead his team with 30 more points, zero turnovers in three straight games.
04:11All coming back off an injury.
04:14Look at these numbers.
04:153-0.
04:1732 points per game.
04:19Completing 74% of his passes.
04:22Four touchdowns, zero interceptions.
04:24Since Caleb Williams is a superstar.
04:27This is who he is.
04:29And by the way, it wouldn't matter if he was playing against the worst teams in the NFL.
04:32These three games coming back since the injury.
04:34We're talking about a road game against a really good Falcons defense.
04:39We are talking about a game on national TV against the New England Patriots and Mike Vrabelcoach team.
04:45And then in Seattle, against a loaded defense, a Mike McDonald defense, where you have to deal with crowd noise.
04:52The 12th man.
04:53Toughest plays in the league to play.
04:55This is unreal.
04:56How about the way Caleb Williams just started that game?
04:59That opening drive.
05:0017 plays.
05:0180 yards.
05:02That was absolutely incredible.
05:038 minutes, 32 seconds off the clock.
05:06How about the only moment that was, you know, difficult from a Bears perspective last night?
05:12Loveland with the fumble.
05:13Seattle is able to score.
05:15They cut it to three.
05:15Never in a million years did I think they were actually going to win the game.
05:19Ebb and flow.
05:19Chicago just crunched them.
05:22And, man, I just love after they cut it to three, Caleb Williams just went to work.
05:27He had that flip to Kalief Raymond.
05:3039 yards.
05:31Set up DeAndre Swift in his third touchdown of the game.
05:34Listen, Burden's a stud.
05:37Luther Burden's unbelievable.
05:39Roman Dunze was great last night.
05:41Loveland had that fumble.
05:42He was unstoppable last night.
05:44Swift runs the ball effectively.
05:45You look at it, it's just incredible and inspiring to watch.
05:50So, the Chicago Bears, to me, are a co-favorite, if not the favorite, in the NFC to represent
05:57the conference and the Super Bowl.
06:00Chicago, San Francisco, San Francisco, Chicago, they're the two best teams.
06:04I don't want to hear about anyone or anything else.
06:07There's no doubt about it here that the Bears, with Jeffrey Simmons, are a Super Bowl team.
06:12They have every element, including the star quarterback, that you want.
06:16And if you can ultimately be this kind of team, and you can ultimately—and I don't
06:22care that Minnesota has the better record.
06:26We've talked about this.
06:28This is not an overreaction.
06:29This is not an overreaction Tuesday.
06:32The Bears are better than the Minnesota Vikings.
06:34We have said this.
06:36We've talked about it.
06:36I have the Vikings making the playoffs.
06:38I said it before the season started, and actually, they have outkicked my expectations,
06:43and they can play even better if they get anything on offense.
06:47But you look at this.
06:49Who's beating Chicago?
06:51Who's beating Chicago?
06:53That's the way we need to frame this discussion.
06:55And I think when it's all said and done, they're going to get up to the one or the two
07:00line
07:00when you start talking about the NFC conference standings.
07:03And that changes everything.
07:05No one's going to want to come to Chicago in the first round or the second round of
07:08the playoffs.
07:09And if they get the one seed, which is possible, I mean, it's really ridiculously amazing.
07:14So if you're asking me to predict the NFC winner right now, it's Chicago number one,
07:19and it's San Francisco number two.
07:22And then you draw a line, and you have the conversation about everything else.
07:25By the way, take a look at the NFC North standings.
07:27If the season ended today, it doesn't, all four teams make the playoffs, which is kind
07:34of crazy and kind of wild here when you take a look at it.
07:38All four teams would make the playoffs.
07:43Now, I still think the Rams are in a great position.
07:49And Miles Garrett, Sean McVay announced in the press yesterday, is coming back to practice
07:54this week.
07:54And I still think that is a huge deal.
07:57And I'm going to tell you right here, right now, I think the Rams, and they have Green
08:01Bay on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, I think the Rams are going to make the playoffs.
08:06In fact, it's crazy when you look at the NFC West standings, the Rams and the Seahawks
08:10are tied, which is wild, because the feel is totally different around these teams, right?
08:15Rams with all these bad losses, and I can't believe this happened, and that happened, and
08:19the Arizona game, and, you know, you take a look at all these bad losses, and the Denver
08:24collapse, and, you know, the Buffalo game, and all the special teams.
08:29Rams are back.
08:30And I feel better about the Rams than I do the Seattle Seahawks.
08:35And I feel better about the Rams at 4-4 than I do the Green Bay Packers at 5-3,
08:41or the
08:42Detroit Lions.
08:43So, I think the Rams will make the playoffs here, okay?
08:47I think at 4-4, they make the playoffs.
08:50I am not taking the cheese on the cheeseheads.
08:53I still don't think the Green Bay Packers make the playoffs.
08:56Monster game.
08:57I think it's the game of the week in the NFL.
09:00There's so much riding in the balance, AFC, NFC, with the Packers and the Patriots, NFL
09:05and Fox.
09:06That's the Kevin Burkhardt, Tom Brady, Aaron Andrews, Tom Martin, all of these specials
09:10coming up this week.
09:11That's going to be unbelievable.
09:13I'm still not taking the cheese on the Lions either, but I think the Rams are actually
09:19in a terrific position.
09:20I feel like the Rams win last night.
09:23Rams win on Sunday in conjunction with the Seahawks' loss last night.
09:28With the news that Miles Garrett's coming back, terrific.
09:32I mean, no margin for error.
09:34Also, no excuse.
09:35Rams have to make a run in the playoffs to the Super Bowl.
09:39In fact, if I'm ranking teams that could ultimately go to the Super Bowl out of the NFC, here's
09:43my ranking.
09:44Number one is Chicago.
09:46Number two is San Francisco.
09:47Number three, the LA Rams.
09:48That's where I'm at right now when you start looking into the crystal ball.
09:53There's not a current power ranking.
09:55This is moving it forward and prognostication when it comes to the NFC playoff picture.
10:01So, I thought last night, I thought week eight in general was a big week for the LA Rams.
10:09Meanwhile, the Giants find themselves right in the thick of the NFC playoff picture.
10:14So, does that make them buyers in the trade markets?
10:18What does head coach John Harbaugh have to say about all this?
10:22Why?
10:22Because you're turning over every stone.
10:24You know, going to try everything.
10:26I mean, I just, I'll put it out there, man.
10:28We're open for any call.
10:29Anybody wants to call us or call anybody?
10:32Call.
10:32You know, is there a song?
10:34There's a song like that.
10:35Call me.
10:35Is it like, who sings that?
10:37Call me.
10:38Blondie.
10:39You know why Blondie called me?
10:41Blondie, that's one.
10:42That's from our generation.
10:43I'm thinking of a newer one, though.
10:44Call me maybe?
10:45Call me maybe?
10:47Yeah, that's what I'm thinking of.
10:48Yeah, that's what I'm thinking of.
10:49That's what I'm here for.
10:50Let's put that out there.
10:52Put that out there.
10:53You know, it was kind of like fun to see the outpouring of interest in that.
11:01I enjoyed it.
11:02We're not like, we're not part of any secret society oath that says you can only talk to somebody.
11:08We're not in that.
11:09We didn't get memoed on that.
11:11We're not in that agreement.
11:12So, like I said, anybody can call us.
11:14We won't be adhering to that particular agreement.
11:20I'm obsessed with that soundbites.
11:23John Harbaugh going full.
11:25Carly Rae Jepsen.
11:28Hey, I just met you.
11:30This is crazy.
11:32Here's my number.
11:34Call me maybe.
11:35I'm obsessed.
11:36I could tell right from the jump.
11:38I wasn't talking about Blondie.
11:39That's Carly Rae Jepsen, baby.
11:41Let's go.
11:43And I love it.
11:44And if you're a Giants fan watching it, like every single time the Giants play and Harbaugh's
11:48on the sideline or when he's at a postgame news conference or talking to the team, you
11:52want to run through the wall if you're a Giants fan.
11:55Hell yeah.
11:56He called the Tennessee Titans owner.
11:58And our good friend, the great Jonathan Jones from The Athletic, broke that story on Saturday.
12:02And it's awesome because Joe Shane can make calls and he can call the GM for the Tennessee
12:09Titans.
12:09John Harbaugh picks up the phone.
12:12It's his name.
12:13It's his team.
12:14It's his show.
12:15And I love that.
12:17And it shows the mentality.
12:19He had that press conference yesterday with a purpose, basically telling the Indianapolis
12:24Colts, hey, pull the Carly Rae Jepsen.
12:27Call me.
12:28Maybe.
12:29Let's do a deal for Jonathan Taylor.
12:32How would you like to see if you're a Giants fan, Jonathan Taylor in a Giants uniform?
12:37And honestly, I would pay the premium if I'm John Harbaugh and Joe Shane because it's about
12:442026, sure, and you want to make the playoffs and you want, if you're ownership, a home playoff
12:50game and you want to reward your long-suffering fans who have had to watch not only a bad football
12:56team, just an eyesore of a football team, an aesthetically unappeasing football team.
13:02When you look at this football team and the New York football Giants and how bad they've
13:07been to the eye, and they're not sexy in any way, shape, or form.
13:11So, listen, not only have the Giants been bad, they've just been aesthetically atrocious
13:18for a long period of time.
13:20Jonathan Taylor would give them sex appeal.
13:23Here's JT bringing sexy back.
13:26I think that would be amazing for the Giants this year and for 2027 and for 2028.
13:31And Jonathan Taylor, that's a marquee guy, is a future Hall of Famer, one of the best
13:36running backs in the NFL.
13:37And according to our friend Adam Schefter, the Colts want the Christian McCaffrey package,
13:42a two, a three, a four, a five.
13:45Would I do that for Jonathan Taylor?
13:47Hell yeah, I would.
13:49Absolutely, I would.
13:50And I think they should.
13:52And I think Jonathan Taylor, who grew up in Jersey, would be amazing.
13:56And I still think there's a real shot the Giants trade for Jonathan Taylor, because John
14:01Harbaugh, with a purpose, did the whole Carly Rae Jepsen press conference yesterday, because
14:07he absolutely, at the end of the day, and I firmly believe this, he wants Jonathan Taylor,
14:13because that's a Harbaugh guy.
14:15That's someone that ownership can appreciate.
14:18I interview Jonathan Taylor all the time.
14:19He's super smart.
14:20He's got a future in broadcasting.
14:22He's great in the community, and he's a Hall of Fame running back in his prime.
14:26So you make that trade.
14:28Now, if they can't get Jonathan Taylor, it's pretty crystal clear the Giants are doing
14:32something, right?
14:33He has that press conference with a point and a purpose.
14:36And they already made a great trade for J.J.
14:37McCarthy, but they have a golden opportunity to make the playoffs, and that helps set the
14:42tone and the tempo for the future for the Giants.
14:46So I think that Jonathan Taylor is a real shot he's going to be a Giant.
14:49If not, who else could they get?
14:52Derrick Henry.
14:54And I think the educated guess on Henry is he stays in Baltimore.
14:59I firmly believe that.
15:01I think he stays in Baltimore, and I think he's the Ravens running back for next season.
15:08Ravens are done this year, and not only did they lose Lamar, they lost Snoop, and they
15:12play on Thursday.
15:13So they're going to be 4-5 before the trade deadline ultimately is next Tuesday.
15:18So I think that when it's all said and done, if you are the Baltimore Ravens, you have
15:24to ask yourself, do you want Derrick Henry as your running back?
15:28Do you want that salary on your books for next year?
15:31If the answer is no, and if the Colts don't want to trade Jonathan Taylor or don't want
15:39to trade him to the Giants, maybe Minnesota offers him a first-round pick.
15:42Yeah, I think at the end of the day that Derrick Henry to the Giants makes sense.
15:48Credit to Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk, who was the first one who ultimately had that
15:54concept and that idea, I don't think it's likely, but I think it's worthy of conversation
16:01based upon the Henry Harbaugh history, and if plan A doesn't happen with, obviously, Taylor
16:08and the New York football Giants.
16:11I'll give you a plan C, Brees Hall.
16:15And before anyone says, well, how can the Jets and Giants get together on a trade?
16:20Well, Leonard Williams and that happened, and it made sense for both teams.
16:24And by the way, Leonard Williams is now phenomenal playing for the Seahawks, just won the championship.
16:28So, yeah, can the Jets and Giants get together on a trade?
16:32Why not?
16:33I also am of the opinion that Brees Hall is fabulous.
16:37I think he's a fantastic, versatile running back who would be great for Harbaugh.
16:42He can run the ball in a physical and slippery style, and he catches out of the backfield.
16:47He is also, and I think this is a different topic for conversation, but it coincides nicely
16:53with the potential of a trade, he might just be the second-best running back on the Jets.
16:57Braylon Allen has been terrific.
16:59Now, the conundrum for the Jets, of course, is Aaron Glenn is the ex-coach of the Jets.
17:06Not officially, but he will be fired.
17:08So I would kind of love to know if I'm the Jets, right, who's making the decision on the
17:14running back before you start trading, you know, Brees Hall to the rival Giants.
17:18By the way, I think the Jets and Giants, it's absolutely kosher and fair game for them to
17:23get together on a trade.
17:24It's worse to do it in the division.
17:27That's, I mean, you rarely see these kind of big-name divisional trades.
17:32That's more taboo because you've got to play the guy twice a year.
17:35Jets, Giants, I don't even think at this stage it matters.
17:38I don't think it's likely, but when Harbaugh has that kind of press conference, you know
17:44they want to do something.
17:45Whether it's trading for a thumper on defense, whether it's trading for a big-time running
17:50back, listen, we're showing you these pictures of the players in the Giants' uniforms with
17:55a purpose.
17:56I think Jonathan Taylor is still the best bet.
17:59I think Derrick Henry, if and when the Ravens lose on Thursday, they don't have a quarterback
18:04to Jacksonville.
18:05If the Ravens decide, and there's a lot of ifs here, if the Ravens decide that they
18:10don't want to be in the Derrick Henry business and be on the hook for what the money will
18:14be for next year, then I think it makes a lot of sense.
18:18Brees Hall, there's logic here.
18:21So I love John Harbaugh's press conference.
18:24I love him going full.
18:26Carly Rae Jepsen obsessed with what he did talking to the press yesterday.
18:42I'm sorry to follow up on the question about the wine, but what happened there when you
18:46crashed into the fan?
18:47Was that just...
18:47I spilled some of his wine.
18:49Yeah, I crashed into him and spilled some of his wine.
18:51So I wanted to see if it was worth it on my arm, man, how good it was.
18:56It was all right.
19:00When you're winning, you can drink on the job.
19:02Why not?
19:05Listen, here's the beauty of what's going on with the Philadelphia 76ers.
19:09And when I tell you this, I want you to do me a favor.
19:13I want you to keep this between us.
19:16I will never admit that I said this.
19:19This Sixers team is likable.
19:21If I didn't hate them, I'd love them.
19:24The Philadelphia 76ers are a beautiful basketball machine.
19:29They play the game the right way.
19:31They share the basketball.
19:34They're drinking wine.
19:36LeBron is in the middle of a game.
19:38And they can do it because they're winning.
19:41When you win, you can do anything.
19:43Even Joel Embiid has fit in.
19:46Did you see the numbers for this team last night?
19:50I mean, this is a five-star Philly special because you have five stars.
19:57And what do you know?
19:58Look who the leading scorer was again.
20:01Tyrese Maxey, one of my favorite players in all of sports.
20:04He's the team leader.
20:06He's the engine that makes this whole thing go.
20:09Tyrese Maxey, 26 points.
20:11Absolutely sensational.
20:13Distributing as well.
20:1411 assists.
20:15He is the best player on the Philadelphia 76ers, which speaks volumes considering other players
20:23on the Philadelphia 76ers.
20:24Shalen Brown, phenomenal last night.
20:27Champion, former Finals MVP, All-Star.
20:31I thought he should have got to be more cred for MVP last year.
20:35Still can't believe Brad Stevens traded him to Philly.
20:3725 points, 11 rebounds.
20:40Look at the line for LeBron last night.
20:43Forget about the drinking of the wine because that takes away from it.
20:47James was magnificent.
20:4815, seven rebounds, nine assists.
20:51Just incredible stuff.
20:52I'm obsessed with Vijay Edgecombe.
20:54Loved him in college.
20:55Raved about him last year in the draft process.
20:58Raved about him in Philly his rookie season.
21:00And he fits in like a glove.
21:02He plays amazing defense.
21:0321 points last night.
21:05He's so smart.
21:06He's so calculated.
21:08And then you have Joel Embiid.
21:11And listen, I am not an Embiid fan in isolation.
21:15I was completely correct on my take that they would never win big with Joel Embiid, never
21:21get out of the second round because Joel Embiid is not a winning ball player.
21:24And Embiid had a choice.
21:27Either embrace this and fit in or fit out.
21:31And he's fitting in.
21:33And he was even a game time decision last night with an injury.
21:36You saw the numbers on the screen.
21:37He was absolutely dominant last night.
21:40And Joel Embiid has become, for this group, a complimentary star.
21:46So what's not to love here?
21:48We said that Sixers are going to get off to a great start because LeBron is, you know,
21:53obviously not only an all-timer, he's still at the top of his game.
21:56And he understands how to take over a game even when he doesn't score.
22:00The team goes through Maxie.
22:03Jalen Brown just wants to win.
22:05Embiid, even for someone like me, as I've always crushed him, deserves credit for being
22:10able to see the forest through the trees.
22:12It's kind of remarkable.
22:14And it's not a fluke.
22:16And in a lot of ways, because, you know, it doesn't even matter that there's one
22:20basketball for five superstars.
22:22The team chemistry is great.
22:24It's only going to get better.
22:27Everyone in the East, everyone in the NBA should be on notice.
22:30The Philadelphia 76ers are clearly the best team in the NBA.
22:37And I don't even know how it's up for discussion to the defending champs now, where OG and the
22:43Knicks took on the little bro, the Nets, at the Garden last night.
22:50All right.
22:50Out to Ananobi.
22:51Puts it up.
22:52Puts it in.
22:53And the Knicks regain the lead.
22:55Timeout, Brooklyn.
22:57Yeah, I mean, this is just three guarantees in life.
23:03Death, taxes, and the Knicks beat the Nets because the Nets aren't in the same league.
23:09I mean, they're not in the same city.
23:11You know, the Nets, I don't get fired up about Knicks-Nets, right?
23:17Knicks-Celtics?
23:19Sure.
23:19Knicks-Sixers?
23:21Absolutely.
23:22Knicks-Pacers?
23:23Count me in.
23:25Knicks-Nets?
23:27Knicks-1.
23:28Bronson's great.
23:29Hart's great.
23:31OG's great.
23:32Bridges still can't shoot.
23:33Kolek's making passes.
23:35And that'll do it for our coverage of the Knicks and the Nets.
23:39Out West, it's all Luka all the time.
23:41I told you he's going to win the MVP.
23:45It's Luka Doncic's world, and we're all living in it.
23:48He has 226 points coming in in six games.
23:52Only Wilt and MJ have accomplished that number as he hits again.
23:57Think about that.
23:59Only Wilt and MJ has scored.
24:01As they're saying, only Wilt and MJ, you have Luka living La Vida Luka.
24:12Take a look at these stats.
24:13I want you to look at this, because I told you before the season, Doncic was my pick
24:18for the MVP.
24:19Look at the numbers from last night.
24:2142 points, 7 rebounds, 13 assists, 14 of 24 from the field.
24:26That is his fourth 40-point game of the season.
24:31His fifth straight game scoring 20 or more points in the first half.
24:37This is not a misprint.
24:39He is averaging 39 points per game.
24:46Last five, he's averaging 43 while shooting 53% from the field, 45% from three, 89% from
24:59the line.
25:00This is unbelievable.
25:02He is a machine.
25:03And this is not a fluke.
25:04This is not an accident.
25:05And I want to kind of combine a couple of things here, right?
25:08Because I said this in real time on Shine Time, and I know you heard it, and I know you
25:13saw
25:13it, because I saw all the comments on YouTube, and I saw all the comments on Instagram.
25:19LeBron going to the Sixers was unbelievable.
25:22That would make the Philadelphia 76ers a real championship team.
25:26And it did.
25:27It was the icing on the cake after they traded for Jalen Brown and everything we just talked
25:31about.
25:32Next sentence, the Lakers would be better this year than last year.
25:39And that's not LeBron's shade.
25:41This is Luka Doncic's team.
25:43And Luka being on a heater without LeBron is not surprising, a coincidence, or an accident.
25:51Rob Polenka building a team in the offseason brilliantly, from Kessler to Grimes to everyone in between,
25:58watching Austin Reeves do his thing.
26:01This is not an accident.
26:04Give Doncic credit.
26:06He's lost weight.
26:07He's a willing defender.
26:09The offense and the zone he's in right now, pasting the heat last night, this is an all-time heater.
26:16It's also not a fluke or a surprise.
26:18He has the ability to sustain throughout the course of a season.
26:22This is under the umbrella for me, and we said it, of as expected.
26:27Luka Doncic is going to win the most prestigious single-season honor of being the MVP.
26:33And the Lakers are going to be in contention to win the Western Conference.
26:38And we can talk about injuries in OKC and injuries in Minnesota, and the Lakers are genuinely great.
26:44And we said they would be a top-four seed before the season started.
26:48And honestly, take a look at this right now.
26:51And you've got some teams in front that are overachieving, and obviously, we haven't even hit Thanksgiving yet.
26:59Or, you know, oftentimes you say you don't really check the standings in the NBA and make judgments until Christmas.
27:06Well, spoiler alert for Santa.
27:09The Lakers are unbelievable.
27:11And this is not a fluke in any way, shape, or form.
27:14Doncic is special.
27:15There was a plan in the offseason.
27:18Give the Lakers credits.
27:20I'm obsessed with Luka and the Lakers.
27:23How about the defending Western Conference champs?
27:25Wemby has a squad on a winning streak.
27:29Now a mismatch down low.
27:31Victor and Clark.
27:32Victor off the backboard!
27:34Oh, my goodness!
27:37How about the Spurs running their fifth straight game?
27:40Victor Wambanyama doing unbelievable things.
27:43Listen, Victor Wambanyama's reputation was in the tank, in the toilets, based upon what he did
27:51and just how cranky he was and arrogant and thug-esque in the way that he played against the Knicks
27:57and unlikable against OKC and then New York.
28:01Let's also not get it twisted.
28:03Wemby's a star.
28:05Wemby's a freak.
28:06And obviously, with Victor Wambanyama, the Spurs are going to be a force in the West.
28:15If you were 30-30, you got a chance to go play these boys in overtime.
28:17Let's freaking go.
28:19You know, sign me up.
28:22Ah, yes.
28:23Gardner Minshew is a national treasure.
28:25But, when he make his way into this week's Shines Guys, here they are for Week 8 of the NFL.
28:31Shines Guys.
28:31Number 5, my guy Drake May.
28:34I want to seize the moment and give our guy Drake May some love.
28:37Listen, and I started him at DFS.
28:39And, by the way, I'm in a big league.
28:41A lot of money.
28:42Weekly prizes.
28:43Season-long prize.
28:44I'm in first place for season long.
28:46And I was in third place.
28:47Top three get money.
28:4825 dudes in the league.
28:49And I won money because of these stats.
28:53By the way, forget the stats, though.
28:55With 199 passing yards, the Patriots only had three points in the first half.
29:00But, Drake May, without A.J. Brown, with injuries all over the field, dominated the second half of this game.
29:06So, I know it's Miami.
29:09And the Dolphins aren't any good.
29:10But, they did win against the Jets the week before.
29:14It was a rainstorm.
29:16And Drake May played his best and threw beautiful passes.
29:20Ran the ball effectively.
29:21Kept plays alive.
29:23I want to give Drake May some love.
29:25The stats?
29:27Really good.
29:28But, this is beyond the box.
29:30Or, people think I hate the Patriots.
29:31I don't hate the Patriots.
29:32I just don't think they're a truly great team.
29:34Drake May, my guy, number five.
29:36Number four, my guy, Jameer Gibbs.
29:38Now, this, in terms of stats, is absolutely incredible and unbelievable.
29:43And Jameer Gibbs is awesome.
29:44And the stats, great.
29:46And also, the way that he was able to have consistent, maintained greatness.
29:50Third game with 150 or more rushing yards this season.
29:54And he salted that game away for the Detroit Lions.
29:59You know, they punted the ball.
30:01The Vikings did to Detroit.
30:03Gibbs was able to just run the puppy out.
30:06Absolutely obsessed with my guy, Jameer Gibbs.
30:09Number three, my guy, Brock Bowers.
30:11We didn't even talk Raiders yesterday because we just focused on the fact that the Jets are inept.
30:17Brock Bowers is one of the most special players in the NFL.
30:19Look at these numbers.
30:21Look at the touchdowns.
30:23Look at the receiving yards.
30:24Look at the catches.
30:2611th career game.
30:27And this is his second year in the league.
30:3090 or more receiving yards.
30:32Third year in the league.
30:3290 more receiving yards.
30:34Second most by a tight end 23 or younger.
30:37I mean, this cat is a freak.
30:39My guy, Brock Bowers.
30:40Number two, my guy, Joe Burrow.
30:43And I know he threw three interceptions, but forget about that.
30:47Six total touchdowns.
30:47Also, the Titans just destroyed the Cincinnati defense.
30:52And Joe Burrow didn't really have any balance with Chase Brown running the football.
30:57This was a historic day at the office.
31:02Joe Burrow.
31:03Five touchdowns in the air.
31:04One on the ground.
31:05Four hundred fifty plus passing yards.
31:08Five or more passing touchdowns.
31:10One or more rushing touchdowns in a game.
31:12That's NFL history.
31:14Joe Burrow and Norm Van Brocklin.
31:18Oh, baby.
31:19That's great stuff.
31:20My guy, Joe Burrow.
31:21And my number one guy, my guy, Gardner Minshew.
31:24And you know who agrees with me?
31:25My guy, Mr. LaFleur.
31:27And I love what Michael Ford did.
31:29He bent Jacoby Brissett and made him third string because of the way my guy Gardner Minshew played.
31:34And listen, Gardner Minshew's not a sustained starting quarterback.
31:39He's fun.
31:40He's got swagger.
31:41He doesn't know what day it is.
31:42That's what makes him great.
31:43That's why you want him as your backup quarterback.
31:45And obviously, he's been successful in the league.
31:47Jacksonville, Indianapolis.
31:49You know, he's bounced around a little bit.
31:51He's, you know, certainly he's a different cat.
31:54He's a swashbuckler.
31:55Yeah, I was always going to let him sling into Trey McBride and Wilson for the rest of the year.
31:59That's good stuff.
32:00Very happy for him.
32:02My guy.
32:03And he beats the Cowboys.
32:06He handled the, handed the Dallas Cowboys their worst home choke ever.
32:11First time ever in Dallas Cowboy history.
32:13They've been up 14 or more points and they blew it at home.
32:1714 or more points in the fourth quarter.
32:19My guy, Gardner Minshew.
32:21But wait, there's more.
32:28The left to Keyshawn Hall.
32:30Steps back.
32:31Fires a three.
32:32Knocks it down.
32:34This guy's still perfect.
32:36Six for six.
32:38Johnny's kicked off the 2026-2027 season with a win.
32:42My Syracuse Orange, Jerry McNamara with a win last night.
32:47I love the start of the college basketball season.
32:49I love watching Duke and Florida and I love watching UCLA last night and Texas.
32:56I'm always into November and the beginning of the college basketball season.
33:00And you asked for it.
33:02You got it.
33:03Our official college basketball final four predictions.
33:08I'm taking UConn to win the whole thing.
33:11They're plus 300 to go to the final four.
33:13Florida plus 164.
33:15Todd Golden's team is loaded.
33:17I've got Duke.
33:18And I like Texas to make the final four.
33:21And you can get them at plus 475.
33:24That's the show.
33:25If you miss any portion of the show, just do what I do.
33:27We watch the show over and over again.
