00:00It's incredibly upsetting and incredibly moving to hear them react to what happened to Henry on
00:07that awful night. It's difficult to separate out who I am. I am the Home Secretary and I have met
00:15Henry's dad and his stepmom as well and we've talked about this case on a couple of occasions
00:20and it's just an absolute tragedy and it's been compounded by the circumstances in which he died
00:26and also the family's experience of the criminal justice system and I have been very moved by the
00:32dignity of the family in how they've handled this awful situation which none of us can ever imagine
00:38being in and I'm very clear that they deserve answers and I have committed to them that it's
00:45my job to make sure that they get the answers they need and deserve and that's why I asked Alex
00:50Chalk
00:51who's a former Lord Chancellor and Justice Secretary to conduct a review of this case to find those
00:57answers for the Novak family and to crucially cover their experience of the criminal justice system as
01:03well because there are clear issues here that have been thrown up by this case and they do need to
01:07be
01:07looked into.
