00:00I disagree with J.D. Vance and I told him so yesterday on the phone.
00:06Now, of course, he wanted to be at pains to offer condolences to the family and I thanked him for
00:13that.
00:14But I was clear that the perpetrator of this crime was a young Brit that lied and now is going
00:23to serve time in prison as a result.
00:25We have investigations into the policing. There is a live inquest taking place.
00:32Our systems are working, even though what the public have seen, not just in this country, but globally, is harrowing,
00:39is deeply troubling.
00:41And of course, of course, we will do all we can to get to the bottom of this.
00:45But the central issue is knife crime. And of course, the policing on the night.
00:50It has nothing to do with immigration, which is now falling in our country as a result of the actions
00:56that we've taken.
00:57The vice president has longstanding views about Western values.
01:02And of course, he put those views to me once again.
01:06We've had numerous conversations about that over the years.
01:10But it was right for me to push back very strongly on the suggestions he made about mass immigration and
01:18crime and murder in our country.
01:21And I did that on behalf of the British people and the British nation.
01:25We've had many issues.
01:25We've had many of the issues.
