The final boss is still standing, and I'm still not strong enough to bring this nightmare to an end.
Today, I spent the ENTIRE episode farming Runes, preparing for another attempt at defeating the Elden Beast.
No epic boss battles. No major victories. No progress toward becoming Elden Lord.
Just me, a giant bird, and an unreasonable amount of Rune farming.
At this point, that bird deserves a place in the credits. It has contributed more to my journey than some of the people I've met in the Lands Between!
Every Rune brings me one step closer to becoming stronger. Hopefully, the extra levels will finally give me the advantage I need against the final boss.
The Elden Beast may be waiting at the end of the world, but I'm not giving up.
I'll be back.
And next time, I hope to bring more than just Runes to the fight.
