00:01There was a big fight this weekend.
00:03Canelo Alvarez is staving off father time at 36 years old.
00:07He looked good.
00:08He looked sharp, but very strong.
00:10He has that old man strength, let's be honest.
00:12But you've got to remember that Canelo turned professional at 17 years old.
00:16So the mileage that he has, he always looked older for his age.
00:19They basically circumvented the amateur route.
00:21They said, I'm putting you as a professional.
00:23And there's a lot of mileage on him, but he still has the power and the precision.
00:29What I'm worried about is that Christian Mibili, the guy that he beat for the WC super middleweight title,
00:34which he won back after losing to Terrence Crawford, he did put some combinations on Canelo
00:39that showed that he can't completely protect himself.
00:42Now, Canelo ate those punches, okay?
00:45He's strong.
00:45Well, he's weather.
00:46He knows how to take that.
00:48But he also has a big head.
00:49When you see Canelo's head, look, I love boxing, but I could never be a boxer,
00:53not because of my hands, but because I have a pee head.
00:56He'll knock my head right off my shoulders.
00:57Canelo is a bulldog.
00:59But I don't want to see him taking those kind of combinations too much.
01:02He's going to be finished.
01:03I think there's a handful of fights ahead of him before he retires.
01:08As we can see, he's already setting up the future.
01:10And a bunch of big-time names are calling out.
01:13So Conor McGregor, who's a UFC fighter, but he fought for me.
01:16That would be great.
01:16He said his retirement fight.
01:18So he has one fight left on his UFC contract.
01:21If he gets that one fight, now the UFC might play games and try to stave off booking that fight.
01:26Ginger on ginger bile.
01:27Oh, that would be amazing.
01:28But Conor McGregor says that he wants to fight out his UFC contract in his retirement fight.
01:33He wants it to have against Canelo.
01:35But I'm finishing off with something about Canelo.
01:37I do believe that these last couple of years, Canelo is going to be more of a cultural icon of
01:40the United States.
01:41Because he's doing his interviews in English.
01:43He's showing off his English skills.
01:45After years of note.
01:45He's always used an interpreter because he doesn't want to be misconstrued.
01:48But his English is really well.
01:49So you see more of his personality.
01:51He's putting out a payroll.
01:53You know, we're going to be speaking to a designer of his apparel.
01:55We showed some of that last week.
01:56So I believe that Canelo is going to make a big cultural impact in the last couple of years.
