00:00So we just had some big news that came over the sets and just announced about Haley Stevens
00:07endorsing Mike Rogers. That was a big move, I think. Nobody expected that, but it's a smart
00:14thing to do because El Syed would destroy our country. So I thought that was fantastic. We
00:21have a tremendous crowd. We're in Iowa. We have a tremendous crowd. And then we're going from
00:26here, going to Kansas. And we're going to get some people elected today. I think we've
00:31had tremendous impact. You know, everybody around me, all stars. We have Marco here, too.
00:38All stars and all great people. But we're going to get a lot of people elected.
00:44Do you plan to reach out to any of these things about her in Washington?
00:47I'm just, there's not much to reach out. Just call her and thank her and say she did the right
00:52thing. Do you think she should be a member of the Republican Party?
00:55I'd love to have her. I think, Mike, do you want to talk? I think Mike talked to her.
01:00Come on over.
01:01Well, I sent her a note, spoke to Haley and told her how courageous she was, how much we
01:07appreciate that. She's standing for truth. Haley's a good person. She's always been very
01:11thoughtful. She loves her state. She's served it as best she could. And she's speaking the
01:16truth. This is a contrast election between common sense and crazy. And there is no crazier
01:23choice on the ballot than El Sayed and what he stands for. And he needs to answer for
01:28that. And I'm sad to tell you, the media has not done a great job in making him answer
01:32for that. But I believe the people of Michigan are going to make the right choice. And I
01:36think Haley did a heroic and important thing for the country.
01:38Did you speak to her by phone? What did she say back to you?
01:41I've spoken to her, encouraged her to stay safe and keep speaking the truth. And I think
01:47she's doing that very well. She ought to be commended for that.
01:49Do you think she's not safe?
01:51Look, I don't know. We're in a heightened threat environment. Everybody in politics
01:55is. And there are dangerous people out there. Of course, she and her fiance have been getting
01:59a lot of threats.
02:00And they're dangerous.
02:01Yeah, I think so.
02:02They're horrible. They're jihadists. He's a jihadist. He's a Muslim Brotherhood guy.
02:07Yeah, I'd say she's in danger. I think she was very brave doing it. And she did it for
02:12the people of Michigan. And I have great respect. I don't know her. I've never met her. But
02:17I have great respect for her, I will tell you. And she put up a great race. You know,
02:21she was supposed to lose by like 25 points. And she ended up losing by half a point.
02:26She almost won. In fact, a lot of people thought she won. So I have a lot of respect for
02:31that.
02:31Do you know if he has a security clearance?
02:36I don't know.
02:37Do you know the nature of his relationship with the woman who the intelligence officer is?
02:41No, I don't know. I just know that he's an outstanding person. And I can't imagine
02:46it would be a problem. But we'll certainly find out about it.
02:53How close do you think the race in Kansas is looking for you?
02:56Well, I don't know. I'm going to Kansas next. Roger is a fantastic senator, one of the best.
03:01Or I wouldn't be doing this. I mean, we have to make sure that Ashley gets in here. And we
03:06have to
03:06make sure. And governors and everything else, too. But we're really here for Ashley. We have to get the
03:11Senate. We can't allow the Muslim Brotherhood. You know, I forget, when they have one or two,
03:18three votes, they basically assume control of the party. The party has to go along with them.
03:24They have to blackmail the party and extort the party. So we have to make sure that Roger gets in,
03:31and we have to make sure that Ashley gets in. And I think we'll do that. Look, these rallies
03:37have been incredible. You know that. I mean, if you ever wrote the truth about them, I don't know
03:41what you do or not. But there's never nobody's ever seen in the history of midterms. It's never
03:45been anything like this. We have sold out arenas everywhere. We haven't had an empty seat.
03:50We have tens of thousands of people that can't get in. So I think there's tremendous energy,
03:56like maybe never nobody's ever seen. Certainly not for midterm elections. Yeah.
04:00Mr. President, Senator Chris Murphy has had a stroke. He's in the hospital. Do you have any
04:05reaction to that? How bad a stroke is it? Do you know? I don't know. This is recent.
04:09Are you wanting to reach out to him? Do you have a reaction to that? Well, at the right time,
04:12I would. Certainly would not like to hear a thing like that. I just heard about it inside. And he's
04:17a pretty young guy. So I was a little surprised to hear it. No, nobody wants to have that.
04:23The Canada trade deal back on. You spoke to Mark Carney just so.
04:27So we have a we have the kind we have the concept of a very good deal with Canada. You
04:33know,
04:33we've been losing money for many years with Canada, many, many years, 70, 75 years. So we have we are
04:41now very close to having a deal. I spoke with the prime minister the other day. I spoke to him
04:46again
04:47yesterday. And we have the concept of a deal that's going to be great for our farmers, great for our
04:52country. And it'll be fine for Canada, too. Is the Keystone Pipeline a part of the negotiation?
04:58They're going to build, which I think is great. They're going to build the Keystone Pipeline.
05:03They're going to pay for it. They're going to pay for all of it. We're going to give them the
05:08route.
05:09And it's largely been determined, but they'll build the Keystone Pipeline. You might come to think of it.
05:14I have an expert at the Keystone Pipeline. What do you think? Well, I think the projects are great
05:19projects and Canada exports over 4 million barrels of oil to the United States. And that's a great
05:28thing for American farmers, ranchers for diesel prices. Keep that Canadian oil flowing down here.
05:36And nobody's done more for ranchers and farmers in this country than President Trump. That's why
05:40we're going to Iowa and Kansas today. This is the heartland elected President Trump. They're going to
05:45turn out for him. And I'm very confident about where the elections are going to go in the Midwest,
05:49because everybody here, everybody that's grown up in a rural area like I have knows that no one's
05:53cared more about them than President Trump and his policies back that up. And then just on energy, the
05:59just before I say that, well, Doug said it very well. One thing we didn't talk about is the fact
06:05that our
06:05farmers were paying tremendous tariffs to send things to Canada. All those tariffs will be gone.
06:12There will be no tariffs. There will be no tariffs. They were paying as much as 400 percent for milk
06:18products and other things. So part of the agreement is that our farmers will have to pay no tariffs.
06:23And then so on energy. And I hope I remember to mention that in my speech today.
06:29That's pretty good. I'm in the right place. I'm in the right place. Being in Iowa, that's a good thing.
06:36The Pentagon released its hold on a number of wind farms, including one here in Iowa.
06:41Do you have any comments on why they did that and how that factors into your energy?
06:45We're going to see how it works out. I'm not a believer in wind. I think wind is a very
06:49expensive
06:49form of energy. We don't need it. I happen to think it's a very ugly thing when you have these
06:54windmills all over the place that in three, four years, they end up rusting and rotting. And he knows
06:59too. He's an expert. So I'm not a big believer in that, especially when we have more oil and gas.
07:05And now with Venezuela and actually Greenland, too, you know, Greenland has a lot of oil and gas
07:11and other things. So we have more than any other two countries in the world combined.
07:19Just just to show how beautiful it is. It's been finished. It was vandalized badly.
07:26We have cameras all over the place now for the vandals, but we're going to be holding. I don't
07:31know if we might hold it tomorrow or something, but it's finished. It looks beautiful. Hasn't
07:36worked since 1922. It's always leaked terribly and it works really well now. We had it working well,
07:43but it was vandalized. But we did a temporary offering because we had to do the pipes.
07:47We wanted to be able to get it open for July 4th. So we were going to close it. But
07:52in the meantime,
07:53they vandalized the hell out of it, including the grass, the grass surrounding it. You know what
07:58they put, they put the certain thing that I won't even say, but we've replaced the grass or the whole
08:04lawn. We had to replace. They burned it out with acid. Yeah. Prime Minister,
08:11you said a very good talk with him. We had a very good talk. Okay.
08:17I did. Yeah. I did.
08:28I didn't hear that. What is meritless?
08:36You mean about Dan Sullivan, Maryland? I think it's one of the most
08:43merit-full things. You have to be kidding. I haven't heard this. I mean, we have,
08:48there's a big federal situation. From what I heard, they're going to dismiss it only on the basis that
08:53let the federal government take over. But no, that's a very important lawsuit. That was a
08:59a fraud. That's voter fraud at the highest level. Thank you very much, everybody.
09:03Thank you very much.
