00:41and a huge thank you to everyone who has done so already.
00:44So we have quite a few things to run through including a new 4.10.3 PTU patch,
00:50there was a 4.10.4 patch for the Evacati and IAE,
00:55some much needed bug fixes, potential information on the Banu Merchantman
00:59and a little bit more as well.
01:01Now firstly, last night a new 4.10.3 patch dropped to the PTU for Wave 1 backers
01:07with some more interesting updates and some great bug fixes.
01:11Before we check out the patch notes though, some information regarding the IAE.
01:16It looks as though the 4.10.3 patch is not to be the IAE patch as last week there
01:23was a 4.10.4 build on the EPTU for the Evacati which was the IAE test build.
01:30Now we will speak about that in a minute.
01:32Firstly, let us run through 4.10.3, this looks like it's going to be dropping to live within the
01:37next couple of weeks,
01:39likely a little sooner as 4.10.4 if that is to be the IAE build that will need to
01:45come around the 12th of November,
01:47bringing just the vehicles and ships for the event.
01:50Now, that is my theory based on what we've seen, nothing is set in stone or officially announced yet,
01:56but it certainly looks like 4.10.4 is to be the IAE patch.
01:59Bringing its own fixes as well I'm sure, but right now what we have on the PTU is 4.10
02:05.3
02:06and for this particular patch it mentions that the Vandal Mauler weapons have been made considerably more dangerous
02:14with its size 6 striker repeaters alpha damage increasing from 64 to 250,
02:19its size 9 igniter beam weapon damage per second has increased from 15,000 to 55,000
02:28and its size 10 annihilator cannons damage per second has increased from 150,000 to 200,000.
02:36So that is a significant increase all across the board.
02:39When we took them on on the initial 4.10.3 wave 1 build,
02:45the Mauler shook the Idris pretty badly.
02:48It was very close to being completely disabled and I think we managed to sort of pull away from it,
02:53but this means we really need to think properly about how we engage the Vandal Mauler
02:58very happy to see it getting a bump in damage, it's going to be quite the formidable foe I reckon.
03:03Now the Lightning Bolt Company Skanoff rifle has had a new Particle Light mode added as a secondary fire mode
03:10and they have updated the magazine to 30.
03:13Personally I feel this rifle feels a little underwhelming, especially for a DMR.
03:17It doesn't do a great deal of damage, so I feel like that might be adjusted down the line.
03:22The shader cache as well should now pre-cache shaders properly while in the launcher
03:28and not having to wait until you get to the main menu, which I do love.
03:32There was an issue with it before that stopped that from happening, so that should happen now.
03:36And then for bug fixes, for 4.10.3 there were 8 more potential bug fixes.
03:41Life support is no longer able to significantly exceed 100%
03:45and a vehicle vented inside a planetary area should now properly recover its atmosphere
03:52and we shouldn't freeze to death on board.
03:54Those two are much needed fixes, so very happy to see that.
03:58Also scrolling the MobiGlass contracts menu should no longer become stuck.
04:03That has been a pain point for a while.
04:05Ships should no longer be clipping into the hangar loading platform
04:08when retrieved via the Aesop terminal.
04:10Now that's a fix that has repeatedly come around, so hopefully that has now got the issue.
04:16I know it was happening to my prospector, but that was fixed a little while ago,
04:20so I would say if you are seeing any ships in 4.10.3 coming up on the hangar loading
04:25platform,
04:26clipping through the actual platform itself, get on that issue council and let them know.
04:31Also for the Aesop terminal, the pay fine button when a ship is impounded should now work again.
04:37AI spawned in for missions should no longer be standing there for almost a minute before engaging
04:42and a couple of other minor issues have been fixed as well.
04:45So some very helpful fixes there.
04:46Hopefully they are fixed fixed, especially that dreaded life support issue.
04:50But let's swiftly move on to 4.10.4.
04:54Again, this is likely to be the IAE build as it was listed in the launcher as 4.10.4
05:00for the EVOCATI.
05:02I didn't have a chance to check it out personally, but I have heard quite a few things were found
05:06within it,
05:07including the updated Liberator description.
05:09Nothing too much different, just I guess bringing it more in line of what it's actually going to be.
05:14Adjustments to the RSI Centurus Mark V as well, with its physical armor threshold decreasing by around 27%,
05:21its energy armor threshold decreasing by about 13%,
05:24and its armor HP increasing by 19%.
05:28Plus, its hydrogen tank capacity was decreased by around 32%,
05:33and its hydrogen consumption was decreased as well.
05:36And its cargo weight should now affect its flight abilities.
05:41Now, the Polaris also saw a few adjustments in this build,
05:45with its physical armor threshold increasing by 6%,
05:48and its energy threshold increasing by 10%.
05:51So only a couple of alterations there, but somewhat significant.
05:54Now, a lot of people also saw that there was a large hollow table display
05:59at the hall's entrance for the IAE, for the Banu Merchantman.
06:04Now, this doesn't, of course, automatically mean that the BMM is back in production,
06:08but this is the same location that the Kraken Hollow was on display for Defence Con,
06:12and we know that that is now coming in next year's Defence Con.
06:15So it is a potential sign that the Banu Merchantman is back in production,
06:20or about to enter, or even releasing for the IAE next year.
06:24But take that with a huge pinch of salt, as it could simply be just a cool display.
06:30Now, my personal opinion on this is, with Squadron finishing up,
06:34and that workforce of about 55% of CIG's entire dev team
06:39will be moving over to the PU, and 1.0 becoming the priority,
06:44I think it could absolutely point to a potential release of the BMM at next year's IAE.
06:50Especially as, last we heard, CIG put the Banu Merchantman on hold,
06:54as they wanted a senior developer to work on it,
06:58rather than a new member,
06:59due to its significance as a ship,
07:02helping to define a whole alien race, being the Banu.
07:05And I think it is highly likely that many of the senior ship team members
07:09and narrative team members, like Dave Haddock,
07:12are working on Squadron to finish it off.
07:14So, once those developers, or these senior developers,
07:17get freed up with the arrival of Squadron,
07:20they would then work closely together on the Banu Merchantman,
07:23bringing it to its release.
07:25Again, this is just a personal opinion, nothing more.
07:28Until we get official word, it's all guesswork,
07:31and it could simply be nothing.
07:32Now, another piece of info that was found during the EVO test
07:35was how both the Auxilia and the MFC
07:38have been removed from the IAE map show floor,
07:42which could indicate that they are being held back until 4.11,
07:46and that would make a lot of sense, especially for the MFC,
07:49as that is just a crafting vehicle, nothing more.
07:53And with vehicle crafting appearing to be in for 4.11,
07:56it wouldn't make much sense dropping that earlier.
07:59The Auxilia doesn't really need crafting to release,
08:02because it's essentially the clipper on wheels, to a degree,
08:04but it could certainly be held back as well.
08:07Now, again, this is not official word,
08:09and they could absolutely appear back on the show floor for the IAE,
08:12but they were replaced with the Centurion and MDC.
08:15Now, my opinion here is that they could just be hiding the names from view,
08:19as they want the Auxilia, for example, to be a surprise,
08:22but it does make sense that the MFC is not released until 4.11,
08:27and back when the leaked show floor dropped,
08:30that could have been the plan back then,
08:32but a lot has changed since then.
08:35We will see.
08:35At the end of the day, it is pointless releasing the MFC without crafting,
08:39and as much as I would love to get the Auxilia as soon as possible,
08:42because I'm super excited for it,
08:44I won't be using it much until Nyx1 comes along anyway.
08:47But we'll have to wait and see what they say about it all.
08:50And now, the final bit of information that I would like to share
08:52is regarding the Municipal Works.
08:55Now, there is a lot of hints that the Municipal Works instance content is coming along,
08:59with entrances being found at Area 18, and not just Levski.
09:04Now, firstly, regarding Will It Come This Year?
09:07I personally think it is highly likely,
09:10as it was mentioned that everything we saw during CitizenCon Direct
09:13was intended to release to the verse this year.
09:17So, it is something that I think could come out this year,
09:21and I'm very happy to see that they appear to be putting it not just in Levski,
09:25but Area 18 as well,
09:26as I think that is a great idea.
09:28Originally, it was intended for Area 18.
09:30Then, when they brought Levski,
09:32it was kind of shifted over to Levski,
09:34and it looks like maybe they're deciding to bring it to both,
09:37offering that kind of content at both locations,
09:41which would be the best of both worlds.
09:43We will see how that comes along.
09:44Whether it actually releases this year, I don't know.
09:47I think that's the intention,
09:49but there has been a lot of things that could have delayed it until next year,
09:53but regardless, it is clearly progressing.
09:56But, there you go.
09:57There is a lot going on right now,
09:59and as of making this video,
10:00there is nothing regarding the tech preview and 4.11, or Genesis.
10:04Although, today being Thursday,
10:06I expect we will see or hear about a new patch either tonight or tomorrow,
10:11as CIG did say the other day,
10:12that they will be putting out another tech preview later this week.
10:16I will be sure to keep you all informed as to what comes of that.
10:20And as much as I'm kind of done with 4.10,
10:23and just excited for 4.11,
10:25I am certainly looking forward to these sort of vandal incursions.
10:29As an org, we will be getting in and taking them on.
10:33With that, though,
10:34if you do enjoy my content,
