Today, Non Ash had one goal.
'CAPTURE ANUBIS.'
Simple enough, right?
Wrong.
He tried different strategies. He changed his approach. He probably questioned his entire existence at some point.
But Anubis just wouldn't cooperate.
Another attempt. Another failure.
At this point, this is no longer a Pal-catching mission.
It's a personal feud.
Anubis has rejected Non Ash so many times that their relationship is starting to look like a very one-sided rivalry.
Did Non Ash give up?
Not exactly.
Did he capture Anubis?
Absolutely not.
Some days, you conquer the world.
Other days, you spend the entire day getting rejected by a giant desert jackal.
Today was just another ordinary day on Non PokƩmon Island.
