00:24Good evening on what is
00:25I regret to have to report
00:27a pretty unpleasant night
00:28the rain has been lashing down here
00:30I'm Derek Ray
00:32and sitting alongside me
00:33ready to provide you
00:34with all the tactical talk
00:36is Sue Smith
00:37and we can't wait
00:38for this one to start
00:39with justifiable cause
00:41your expectations?
00:42Well it's so loud in here isn't it
00:44the fans are really up for this one
00:46and I'm sure the managers
00:47will be reminding them
00:48remember what you need to focus on
00:50and block out all of that noise
01:08and this is how the hosts
01:09will begin the game today
01:11Yeah and it looks to be a 3-5-2
01:13a defensive formation
01:14with the three centre backs
01:16three central midfielders
01:18giving a strong call to the side
01:19it's just essential
01:21that they've got those
01:21real athletic wing backs
01:23who can get up and down
01:24for the entire game
01:38This is how the visitors
01:40will set up today
01:41Well it's a clear 4-5-1
01:43nice and compact
01:44but they've got to be careful
01:46not to leave the striker
01:47on his own
01:47those midfielders
01:49need to push on
01:49and support
01:50or it could end up
01:51being a really lonely
01:52they've got to be shipped up top
02:24And away we go the first half of this game
02:36And a free kick here
02:42Decent idea
02:48It is the ideal opening
03:05If we take a look at this again, it's great centre forward play
03:09Uses his body so well, spins his marker and then finishes it off nicely
03:151-0 then
03:32There to win it back
03:48Delightfully played, menacing
03:50Well, he stopped them in their tracks
03:59And covering tremendous ground here
04:02Well, he really wanted to make it a double
04:05And would have done had it not been for the keeper
04:07Yeah, he wasn't far off from getting his second
04:10He does look lively and we can see that he wants more
04:14And a simple take, no panic whatsoever
04:18They're getting right on top of their opponents and winning it back
04:21Yeah, they press really well together, don't they?
04:24Good defending that from the front
04:28Pushing higher up with intent
04:46Oh, I thought they were on to something there
04:58Oh, he looks threatening
05:00My goodness, that save
05:02Fully stretched he was
05:03One for his own highlights reel
05:10Trying to deliver it accurately
05:11Quick thinking on the line
05:15Intelligent ball
05:19There it is
05:20Two to the good now
05:22And that gives them a buffer
05:41Well, have a look at this
05:42He just glides past the defender with ease
05:45And then he's through on goal
05:46No hesitation at all
05:48Just puts his foot through it
05:50Rifles it past the keeper
05:51It's a cracking finish
05:57Oh, that's a really good run
06:06And the shots
06:07And not quite the attempt that was required
06:10It wasn't
06:11It's not far away though
06:12And they're really giving their all here
06:14You just think
06:15If they nick a goal
06:16It's game on
06:20And a tidy challenge
06:35A real opening now
06:37Oh, great goalkeeping
06:40What a stop that is
06:41Really good goalkeeping
07:01Playing it in
07:02Clearing it
07:03But not confidently
07:06Well, that move
07:07Didn't end the way
07:08They had hoped
07:09Might do damage
07:10On the break
07:14And a complete loss
07:15Of momentum
07:16Unfortunately
07:20That move
07:32Definitely
07:33You
07:33You
07:33You
07:33You
07:34You
07:36You
08:38Trying to finish.
08:40Oh, dealt with by the goalkeeper.
08:43They've decided that the time is right to make a triple substitution.
08:50And there's the delivery.
08:52And still dangerous.
09:02And he takes it away.
09:04Yeah, no messing about there.
09:06He saw that coming, didn't he?
09:15Well, possession problems.
09:22And the fourth official confirming that we'll have one additional minute.
09:27Decent position.
09:33The first half here comes to an end.
09:39Decent idea.
09:46Well, underway once more.
09:48And it's going to be fascinating to see what developments occur in this second half.
09:55Running with confidence.
09:59Eyes on the prize.
10:01And it's two for him today.
10:03A masterful performance.
10:06The defenders unable to stop it.
10:14Well, here we can see it again.
10:17And a simple finish it may be.
10:18But it's all about the movement in the box.
10:21Just to find that yard or two a space.
10:23That's what makes it an easy finish in the end.
10:32Not looking all that comfortable on the ball.
10:50Had a way like a greyhound there.
10:52And he might be through here.
10:55Tremendous block.
10:58Targets available.
10:59Cross comes in.
11:00Well, plenty of power there.
11:02But in fairness, should have made the keeper work.
11:11Klassen.
11:13And in the right position to read it.
11:28Did well to win it back.
11:3430 minutes to go then.
11:44Well, he's won the ball.
11:49Opportunity to attack on the wing.
11:54And read it splendidly.
12:01Well, just over-egged the pudding.
12:03There was substance behind it, though.
12:05And that's comfortably gathered.
12:21Well, spot on with that challenge.
12:36Took a really smart piece of defending to stop them.
12:39I really like that.
12:40Took control of the situation.
12:42He's in with a chance.
12:44Oh, that's marvellous goalkeeping.
12:46Yeah, he anticipated the shot.
12:48Made himself big.
12:50That's great score.
13:18Blade over.
13:19Now he must get it out of there.
13:21Oh, that's great.
13:25Now we're inside the final 15 minutes.
13:29He read the situation defensively and did his job.
13:38He has teammates around him.
13:43A terrific save!
13:52Can he deliver it with accuracy?
13:55Well, capable of better.
13:57Good conditions for the counter.
14:07Great ball over the top.
14:11Oh, that is absolutely magnificent.
14:15Audacious and outrageous.
14:18What a goal it was.
14:20One that all football lovers will appreciate.
14:23A goal to get the blood flowing.
14:27So, back underway.
14:29Three-one the score.
14:37Really getting stuck in.
14:46Can he find the right pass?
14:50Could reduce the deficit.
14:52Oh, what a stop.
14:55So, a substitution in the offing.
14:57And you can't really fault the decision based on the performance.
15:03And he's fired over the corner.
15:05And danger still.
15:07Oh, another goal!
15:09You just cannot keep them down.
15:11And it sets up a furious finish.
15:15Yeah, it's a smart effort to cross goal.
15:18And the keeper can only parry it.
15:19Once it's spilled in the box, you just need someone reacting quickly.
15:23And that's exactly what happens there.
15:32And there it is.
15:33The final whistle.
15:35And the fans will be leaving the stadium.
15:36Decent idea.
15:42Decent idea.
15:44I'm just going to do it.
15:46So, we can do it.
15:47And that's all we have done.
15:48So, we can't do it.
