00:00Did you know you can actually crack a combination padlock without knowing the password?
00:04At first, all the dials are set to zero, but this guy randomly scrambles the code while not even
00:09looking at the numbers, locks the padlock, and decides to try and reopen it. Here's how you do
00:13it. You grab a strip of paper with a simple marking on it and slide it into the gap between
00:17the dials. Then, using a stick, slowly rotate each number dial until you feel the paper dip
00:22slightly. Here, you can see the paper dips at number 9. Then you repeat the same trick for
00:27every dial, one by one. Once all the numbers are marked, you simply roll the entire combination
00:31upward by 5 clicks. And just like that, the lock pops open.
