00:18A warm welcome from the Spanish capital.
00:21I'm Guy Mowbray with the former Arsenal and West Ham midfielder Stuart Robson alongside me.
00:25And everything is set up nicely to give us a really good match.
00:29What are we going to get from this one?
00:31We can talk about coaches and their methods, but it's now down to the players.
00:35Which ones are going to stand out, who will affect the game, and who will have the greater desire?
00:39It should be a cracking game though.
00:44Vinicius Junior has just about every asset you need to succeed at the very highest level.
00:50Is he going to play a prominent role in this game?
00:52Well, Guy, he's one of those players that just strikes the ball so cleanly.
00:56He just seems to get that movement on the ball, which makes it so difficult for goalkeepers.
01:00He's certainly going to be a threat from outside the box today.
01:04This is the Real Madrid starting line-up.
01:07Thibaut Courtois is in goal.
01:08Denzil Dumfries starts with Kukurea in the full-back roles.
01:12Aurelien Schuermeni starts alongside Federico Valverde in central midfield.
01:17And the main man up front is Kylian Mbappé.
01:33This is the visitors team for today.
01:35Well, plenty of attacking width in this 4-3-3.
01:38But they'll need to get their midfield players to join the centre forward as much as possible.
01:42If not, he'll become isolated.
02:25We're off and running in the first half.
02:35We're off and running in the first half.
02:44Well, he's lost the ball and any chance has gone.
02:47Yeah, they really did look solid on that occasion.
02:49Really good defendant.
02:51Couldn't have asked for better here.
02:54Oh, it's in!
02:55An early opener to get the game going.
03:06Well, you have to ask, where's the defendant?
03:09The keeper is completely exposed.
03:10But he still had to finish it and he did it really well.
03:13It's a good goal.
03:30And off we go at 1-0.
03:44Well, this is looking good.
03:48Oh, worth a shot.
03:50And the keeper does well to keep it out.
03:57Mbappé.
04:02And a superb chance now.
04:06That's not the way yet.
04:11Oh, that's brilliant.
04:13Super sharp reactions.
04:32It's played in now.
04:34And that's cleared away comfortably.
04:40Decent chance.
04:42Incredible.
04:43How was that kept out?
05:14You've been delivered.
05:16Keep her there with the punch.
05:19He's behind another corner on the way.
05:21It's behind another corner on the way.
05:30It's been delivered.
05:44into the box it goes
05:46it's all not done yet
05:49it's there
05:50and it's a goal
05:51that's a real settler for them
05:53two in front now
06:06well let's look at this again
06:07it's a decent delivery into the box
06:09and he makes the finish look so easy
06:11what a good goal that is
06:24and the game restarts
06:25with the score 2-0
06:30he's done well to get past
06:32chances don't come much better
06:35and that's two for him today
06:37a superb performance
06:39they can't contain him
06:47well this is worth watching again
06:49Mbappe beats the challenge with such ease
06:51and all you can do is admire the finish by Mbappe
06:54he hits the ball so clearly
06:56it's a fantastic strike
07:10well Real Madrid really starting to run away with this now
07:13and the scoreline could get ugly
07:19Real exploiting the space on the flank
07:21what a chance here
07:23and another goal
07:25it seemed all over before
07:27but there's another to really seal it
07:40well here it is again
07:41he goes past his marker so easily
07:43with just a drop of the shoulder
07:44and then through on goal
07:46he just goes for power
07:47and smashes it past the keeper
07:48there's no stopping that
07:50what a great finish
08:02and away we go again
08:04at 4-0 now
08:13well he got so far but no end result
08:27possession loss just at the point of something happening
08:30well they certainly got their defence
10:02It's so difficult for the attacker.
10:04What a good goalkeeper he is.
10:10And the keeper's sorted it out with some difficulty.
10:16Able to skip past there.
10:23Good work from Real Madrid to win the ball back.
10:27That's a good ball.
10:32Whenever I watch Mbappe, my mind always goes into World Cup mode to coin a phrase on Kroyabner.
10:38Well, he was brilliant as a youngster, but when he's fit, hungry and on top of his game, he's almost
10:44unplayable.
10:45A brilliant player all round.
10:50Well, there's the flag, outside.
10:53The manager's seen enough here, or not enough, because he's coming off.
10:57Oh, my God!
10:59Oh, my God!
11:01Oh, my God!
11:15Body get.
11:17Real Madrid regaining possession.
11:24Space out wide for Real.
11:30And Mbappe.
11:32Oh, chance!
11:33Another goal!
11:34And the sort of day supporters dream of, and will save her for a long, long time.
11:49Well, I have to say, he's done really well here.
11:51He's in the right place, and then a decent finish.
11:53That's a good goal.
12:10And for a goal that might mean no way back, they restart once more.
12:14And that's going to be all for the first half at the Bernabeu.
12:19As you can see by that, Vinicius Junior shining at his brightest today.
12:23Well, he's scored good goals, but his all-round play has been excellent.
12:27He looks like scoring every time he gets on the ball.
12:30Into the box it goes.
12:32The job not done yet.
12:35It's there!
12:36And it's a goal that's a real settler for.
12:46Off we go then, back to the action.
13:16In a game that seems to be only going one way.
13:26Real have it back now.
13:32Goulet.
13:34Oh, he's done well to get past his man.
13:36Oh, this is getting unbelievable!
13:39It is an absolute crashing!
13:49Well, here's the replay.
13:50Watch how he goes past his man with such ease.
13:52And it's just a change of pace.
13:53And when he gets onto it, he decides to go for power.
13:56It's a really emphatic finish, which gives the keeper no chance.
13:59And with such a challenge.
14:18Praise to you.
14:19Marca el Madrid!
14:21Con el quince, Arda Goulet.
14:25Arda Goulet.
14:25Arda Goulet.
14:26Arda Goulet.
14:32and the attack is over
14:33really good defending
14:35oh and he's won the ball
14:36what happens now?
14:44now there could be an opportunity to counter
14:46and a superb chance now
14:51and he's done really well to keep that out
14:57read the pass well
14:58and cuts it out
15:03Vinicius Junior
15:05holds it steady
15:06no worries there
15:21a big area to progress into here
15:24but it's been handled with authority
15:26the defense stands firm
15:33Vinicius Junior
15:39he's in here
15:43and they've scored
15:44a goal to get the stadium jumping
15:54well here it is again
15:55and I have to say
15:56the defending is so poor
15:58they make so many bad decisions there
16:00no wonder the keeper's exposed
16:23I'm afraid that's careless
16:34and there it is
16:35he's doubled up for the day
16:49well here it is again
16:50he goes past his markers so easily
16:52with just a drop of the shoulder
16:53and once he gets onto it
16:55he just smashes it past the keeper
16:56with great technique
16:57what an emphatic finish that is
17:20we've got 20 to go in this one
17:23great instinct there to cut it out
17:25yes such a clever reader of the game
17:27isn't he
17:34possession loss just at the point of something happening
17:47promising forward burst
17:49but it will now be tidied up
17:51and cleared away
17:55and it could get caught out on the break here
18:10but that results in the flag going up for offside
18:13well that was always going to be offside
18:14he just needed to hold on to the ball
18:16that little bit longer
18:19you're going to see a substitution now
18:21it might as well sort of change
18:23yeah and why wasn't this substitution made earlier
18:25the game has passed them by now
18:27it's a question many fans might be asking
18:33Vinicius Junior
18:38on he goes terrific
18:42in behind the defence
18:44and two becomes three
18:46as he completes his hat-trick
18:48a superb performance
18:55well as you can see
18:56he's a great talent
18:57what a run
18:58what a goal
18:59and what a play he is
19:18the game restarts
19:20the result in no doubt
19:21and what a display this has been
19:36that's a good ball
19:38ball lost
19:39and the chance gone
19:44getting closer
19:46decent chance
19:48ball keeper has that
19:50and keeps it in his grasp
19:59it looks the right ball
20:03ball lost
20:04its tackle
20:04clears it away
20:08and that's full time
20:09and it's victory
20:10for Real Madrid
20:12what a good performance that was
20:14they did most things right
20:15and their attack in play
20:16was inventive
20:17and had a real cutting edge
20:19that was a really dominant display
20:20from them today
20:33what a chance here
20:41could have been?
20:42how it was going to be done
20:43I hope you've got this
