00:02My name is Annie Georgia Greenberg, New York editor of Refinery29, and today I'm in downtown
00:06Manhattan with Sephora Pro, Sarah, who's going to be showing us how to add some color into our
00:11everyday makeup looks by pulling unsuspecting New Yorkers off the street and giving them a fresh
00:16new look that you could also do quickly and easily at home. Let's see how it works. We're with Madison,
00:23who's going to get a bold new look. This color that I'm using on you is a deep dark berry
00:27color
00:28because all over the runway looks so pretty on you. What I love about this eyeshadow is that it's
00:34super soft and shimmery, but still has that really great color, so it really helps to balance that
00:40with the bold, intense lip that we applied on you. All right, gorgeous. Joanna, I see you're wearing
00:49accents of purple today, but what's your favorite color to wear in your makeup? I think I stick with
00:53like grays and charcoal colors. So with that, we're kind of going with a look of more of like
00:58your smoky ombre, which is more adventurous and trend-driven. What's great about this look is that
01:04it's super effortless and forgiving, so you don't have to spend a lot of time trying to perfect it,
01:09and you're really just selecting three different eyeshadows from dark to light to kind of create
01:13that gradation, that ombre effect. During the day, you can go lighter with your application, and then at
01:19night, you could just go back in and layer and really create that intensity. I'm going to take
01:25a metallic shade color and place it just in the center of the eye. Some extra drama and ombre effect.
01:32Yeah, I love it. I think it's cool and different, and it makes a pop for fall, so that's fun.
01:38This is Linda, our next makeover volunteer. So with this look here, it's focused more on your cheeks
01:43and lips, so it will keep your eyes more natural. Using gloss for this look is great because it gives
01:48you
01:48just the right amount of color that we're looking for before we apply the blush. And this is a great
01:53tip because anytime you're really trying to just have that fresh wake-up look, it's really key to
01:57make sure that the cheek and lip color harmonize. The blush I selected works really well with the
02:03gloss that we apply because they both fall into the same color category. So we were able to track down
02:09Stephanie, who's going to try our next look. With your style, I definitely think you can rock out some
02:14brighter shades. I'm using a highly pigmented eye shadow all over her eyelid. So to give a little
02:21bit more edge, I'm adding an intense liner right along the lower lashes. I love it. It's definitely
02:27intense, but it really works. Yeah, it looks really awesome. Thanks to Sarah's tips, we have a few easy
02:32ways to incorporate color into our everyday makeup looks. So now you can go forth and be bright.
02:44Let's go.
02:44We'll see you.
