00:15red carpet burgundy lip. It's a total classic, it's one that you'll always see on the red carpet,
00:21it never dates and it never goes out of fashion. And we're going to start off by using a lip
00:25scrub
00:25which will get rid of all the dead skin on your lips because everyone always has slightly
00:30dry lips especially in the winter with all the central heating. Once you've prepped the
00:34lips then you'll need to prime the lips and I'm going to use a little bit of Vaseline which
00:40I really love and that's just kind of rubbing that into the lips and making them really supple
00:44ready for your lip liner. And I'm going to start off by using a burgundy lip liner to trace
00:49the shape of your lips. Smile in the mirror, make your lips taut and then trace your line
00:57from the outer edges of the corner all the way around the lip. And then open up your
01:03mouth and make sure you get right inside the outer corners so that when you smile or laugh
01:09you can still get the perfect lip shape. I'm now going to fill in the lips with a raspberry
01:14burgundy pencil. It's a kind of sheer textured pencil. And I always like to use a pointed cotton
01:21bug dipped in my magic cream. It will clear up any mistakes instantly and give you the perfect
01:25shape. And I'm going to put on this color which is a really beautiful kind of plummy purple wet
01:33violet. Actually it's a color that I'm going to use by Tom Ford and it's really beautiful on top
01:37of this raspberry burgundy tone. And the final finish just gives that real kind of vava boom,
01:44that sort of total starless gloss. I'm putting it on a brush because it gives me a little bit more
01:51precision than using the wand. A great tip when you're going to create such a kind of bold statement
01:58lip color is to keep your skin looking really dewy and luminous and fresh looking.
