00:16Tell me about like a personal style.
00:17How do you get dressed every morning?
00:19I dress to be funny, which not a lot of people do.
00:21If there's an event I'm going to where everybody is going to care a lot about what they're
00:25wearing, that's when I try to care as little about what I'm wearing as possible.
00:28You talk about things that make people think about what they're putting on.
00:31I've always been interested in clothes, obviously, but I've also always been interested in social
00:36and political issues.
00:37Getting dressed every day, that's a big action.
00:38I think of it as the only form of art in which everybody is obligated to participate.
00:43In your closet, what are the essentials that you need to have?
00:46My bad vibe shorts, and I wear my Doc Martens almost every single day.
00:50We're about to raid Madeline's closet, so we're going to see all the crazy, kooky, and wacky
00:55pieces in her wardrobe.
01:02All right, what would you wear if you were a superhero?
01:05I actually have the perfect thing for this.
01:06I just designed it for my store.
01:08It is a tiger print two-piece.
01:12You can't get much more superhero than that.
01:14It's like sexy tiger fighting crime.
01:16What would be your superpower?
01:17The cat claw, right?
01:18It's got to be like...
01:19I know, right?
01:21What would you wear to a really high-pressure event?
01:25So, what I would probably wear would be something a little bit strange, but comfortable.
01:30I have these retro fishnet pants from the 80s.
01:33That's amazing.
01:33Yeah, and anytime you wear fishnet pants, I mean, you're making a statement.
01:37And then something that's kind of easy that makes it so the look doesn't try too hard,
01:40like an oversized t-shirt.
01:46What is an item that you just can't get rid of?
01:48The first sample that I designed myself.
01:52This pair of shorts for my clothing line, Bad Vibes.
