00:02A few months ago, Lipstick Queen launched a black blush.
00:06That's right, a black blush, people.
00:08The product goes on black, but it's supposed to turn into this beautiful, flattering rose hue.
00:14And it got me thinking, what other magical black products exist in the beauty world?
00:19Turns out, there are quite a lot.
00:21I'm gonna try them out on my face for you.
00:23So, without further ado, feast your eyes on the all-black makeup look.
00:27First things first, the black blush.
00:30I've never tried this before, so...
00:32Okay, it is very black, and it's a little sparkly.
00:36I'm gonna put my finger in it.
00:38It's definitely black, but you can see all this, like, nice little rosy color that's coming out.
00:43That's pretty.
00:44As I'm rubbing it in, actually, it looks really pretty.
00:46Look at that.
00:47It's very sheer.
00:48So, I'm gonna put this on my face with my fingers on one side and a brush with the other
00:53side.
00:54It's going on very smoothly.
00:57I will say, it's kind of an intense, rosy color.
01:01Like, I definitely look very flushed right now.
01:05It's definitely not black, so that's good.
01:08Getting some product on my brush.
01:09It's going on pretty black.
01:12Ooh, okay.
01:14I usually don't wear blush this intense.
01:16First application of the blush, I definitely went really intense with it.
01:21So, I used a little bit of this IT Cosmetics concealer to tone it down a little on my cheeks.
01:29Next up is something I'm very scared to use.
01:34The Eclipse Highlighter by Ritual Defeat.
01:37It's completely black.
01:38Like, look at that.
01:38Look at that.

01:41It's, like, completely black.
01:43I really don't think this is gonna work on my cheek, though.
01:45As you can see, this is not transforming into a flattering, rosy hue.
01:50So, I'm gonna put this on my face as you would a normal highlighter,
01:53but my hunch is this is actually a pigment that's supposed to be used,
01:57kind of multi-purpose all over the face.
01:59This is not working.
02:06This is not the look, guys.
02:07But, like, when you blend it out, it's not so bad.
02:10I'm going to take this off my cheek, though.
02:12And I'm gonna use it elsewhere on my face.
02:17Oh, that's pretty.
02:18It's kind of like an instant smokey eye.
02:20An instant glossy smokey eye.
02:22In terms of, like, the eye application, I think it's really beautiful.
02:25Next up, I have this amazing-looking eye foil from Victoria Beckham
02:31and her collection with Estée Lauder.
02:33I've never tried it, but look at that.
02:35It looks like straight-up soot in a pot.
02:38I'm very excited about it.
02:40So, I just put a bunch of matte warm brown eyeshadow all over my eyes,
02:44and in theory, I'm hoping that when I put the black sooty eye foil on top,
02:50it'll look soft, but also really smoky and glossy.
02:54So, that's the goal.
02:55Hopefully, it works out.
02:57Moment of truth, guys.
03:00I'm gonna go in a little bit more on my lash line just to intensify it even further.
03:05Look how intense that is.
03:06It's so intense.
03:08Okay.
03:08I'm going to buff out the edges a bit so that it's not so stark the contrast.
03:14Then I'm gonna put a little bit of dark eyeshadow underneath my lash line to finish the look.
03:23Okay.
03:24A little intense for the day.
03:26I would 100% wear this out.
03:27So, last but certainly not least are these two products from Givenchy
03:32that I'm very, very excited about.
03:34I mean, look at this.
03:35It's a straight up black lipstick.
03:39And this is a black lip liner.
03:43These ones are supposed to transform into really flattering hues.
03:47So, I'm gonna swatch it.
03:48This is the lip liner.
03:49It's definitely pretty gray.
03:52Then, this is the Givenchy lipstick.
03:55So, let's see how this goes.

04:00I'm going to line.
04:05This is so black.
04:09Second attempt, just the lipstick.
04:12So, this is the lipstick on.
04:14I did a little bit of research and this lip liner is supposed to be used to create contrast
04:19in your lips.
04:19So, I'm gonna try that.
04:21I don't think it's doing much, but I will say that I really like the lipstick and it does
04:27feel really good.
04:27So, this is the finished look.
04:29It's definitely a more sophisticated version of what I used to wear in middle school, which
04:35was really just a lot of black eyeliner on my bottom lash line.
04:38It wasn't very cute.
04:38The lipstick is really beautiful and very comfortable.
04:44If you want something that you can put on in a hurry, maybe without a mirror, this is
04:48a really good option.
04:49The lip liner, though, was a bit of a different story.
04:51I think I was expecting more of a transformation when, in reality, there wasn't much of a change.
04:59I love the gloss.
05:00I don't know if you could tell when I was putting it on, it's just so glittery and pretty
05:04and pigmented.
05:05It is $40, though, which is really expensive for one eye product.
05:10But if you love smoky eyes and that's, like, your thing, I think you would adore this product.
05:17I'm very confused by this one.
05:19I don't think that I would use it as a highlighter at all, but I do really like it on
05:23the eyes.
05:24And last but not least, we have the product that started it all.
05:28I liked it.
05:29I don't think it's one that I would wear every single day, but it is really pretty if you
05:33go in with a light hand.
05:34So that is all the black makeup done.
05:38That was kind of an adventure.
05:39In the meantime, I'm going to be here listening to some of my chemical reactions.
