00:00My parents always encouraged me to be socially active and not on social media
00:05because that didn't exist. That is nothing socially active. It's the start of it.
00:09You've got to go ten steps further.
00:14So let's take it back to even further down when I was like 16 years old.
00:17I entertain children at children's parties and the company would pay us like
00:22125 rupees and I'm like trying to calculate that. It's like two or three
00:26dollars. That's what I'd get paid for like six out of seven hours of work and I
00:29said, well you're gonna pay me more or I'm gonna quit the job. When I actually quit
00:33the job and freelanced for a bit and actually paid way more money. If you
00:37don't do it then you won't get what you want or someone else will speak for you
00:40and you will lose your chance.
00:47The first couple of years is always about you know getting your bearings right. This is a
00:50whole new world for me. So I believe hard work goes hand-in-hand with Deep Book Pay.
00:54All you have to do is just speak up and ask. Asking is free and now that I know
00:58where I am in life and what I truly deserve. I enjoy my power to say yes and no.
01:07Young Indian girls in certain semi-urban and rural parts of India, they haven't been able to
01:12find their voice. You just give them the sense of hey listen actually your opinions are valuable
01:18and we want to hear them. You've got to make people aware of their rights and the only way you
01:22can make
01:22them is if they know how to read and write and speak. Speak up for what they believe in.
01:30So the fame is just it comes and then it really helps you for a while and then it goes
01:35away.
01:36Right.
01:36News flash.
01:37It's in those lowest moments you really truly find yourself and that's when you really hone your
01:42talent as well. You use the downtime working on yourself and working on your talent. Going back and
01:46getting trained you know or traveling around the world and learning more about other cultures.
