00:04Hey guys, it's me Anne, beauty writer here at Refinery29, and I'm here today with professional
00:08makeup artist Kaya Bistrel, who's going to turn me into a Le Coy can today. I am personally
00:13obsessed with the sparkling beverage. Everyone loves it. I thought what better than to create
00:18the can on myself for Halloween. So let's get started. The first thing I'm going to do is hand
00:23sanitizer always. Smells like lavender. So in my opinion, I think that when you open a can,
00:30wouldn't the fizz be the most bubbly at the bottom and then slowly disperse as I raise? So I'm going
00:35to start with the most bubbles and then let them sort of disperse as we go up. We're going to
00:40use
00:41this nose and scar wax and you just warm it up and you can kind of put it over a
00:45brow. You can use it
00:46for creating broken noses or creating a little built-up scar. Next thing we're going to do is
00:56start applying the bubbles. So last night I took a bunch of gelatin, which you heat up in the microwave
01:04or in hot water, and I pour it all over this wax paper to create kind of pre-made bubbles.
01:11I'm going to use this thing called Pros-Aid, which stands for prosthetic adhesive.
01:26Beautiful. It's done.
01:31For all those soft, healthy-haired people, which is not myself,
01:36mousse is a really great way with a little bit of a diffuser to just get texture really quickly
01:41without having to do a full blow-dry and then dry shampoo. So we're going to do two little bubbles
01:46on the top of your head. And I was thinking that for this sort of fizzy effect, I really want
01:51it to be
01:52frizzy and full of volume.
01:59I have these two sprays. Because your hair is so dark, we'll start with the white and then kind
02:02of tint it with the turquoise.
02:11So I want to start with a little bit of a darker color at the base so that it kind
02:14of
02:15goes up into this white to sort of create that rising foam effect.
02:19Yeah, for sure.
02:19So I'm going to mix up a color on my palette here. I'm going to grab a little of this
02:23sort of turquoise,
02:25maybe just a touch of silver because it's got some metallic.
02:32You're going to get a little bit of a shadow behind the bubble because of the shape,
02:35but we can go back in with a brush later and kind of touch that up.
02:39Because I still want you to feel cute on Halloween, I'm going to add a little bit.
02:44You don't have to do like a sexy Halloween costume. You want to feel like a human.
02:47I'm going to add a little bit of shadow and a little bit of mascara,
02:50and then I want to add some shine to the bubbles.
02:59Colored mascaras always make people look twice.
03:04We're nearly there. The last thing I want to do is add some sheen to the bubbles,
03:08because I think that is what makes them look like bubbles.
03:11It's a flexible sealer. It's actually what I sealed the brows in.
03:15Ta-da! Here she is. This is pretty much the finished look.
03:18I really like it. The hair is by far my favorite part.
03:20Let's try the dress on.
03:29Thank you so much for doing this, Ikaya.
03:31Of course. Thanks for having me.
03:33Happy Halloween, guys.
