00:22Okay, so we tested a ton of dry shampoos.
00:24What are you looking for when you're testing them?
00:26So, I have a first test which is the arm test.
00:30So I'll test the dry shampoo on the hair of my arm so I can see if it's dusty or
00:34powdery
00:35or how wet it is and if it doesn't pass my white test then I'm not going to buy it.
00:41So the ones we picked out today will not make your hair chalky and they will get rid of the
00:47grease and the oil and leave your hair feeling very manageable and smelling really good.
00:53So which is your first pick?
00:54Okay, so this one definitely came at the top of the list.
00:58This is Cantu which this I feel like you can use for pretty much every single hair type
01:03but most people don't think you can use dry shampoo for thick curly coarse hair and this
01:09one actually works amazingly well.
01:12I love that it has apple cider vinegar in it, it's really natural.
01:16Apple cider vinegar actually removes build up on the hair too.
01:20So those oils or sometimes you might think it's oil but it's actually products that are
01:24built up on your roots.
01:25Yeah.
01:26From shampoos or just the everyday silicones.
01:29Mm-hmm.
01:29So this is actually going to really cleanse the hair too.
01:31So I feel like this one gives you longevity.
01:34It has tea tree oil in it so it's going to protect your scalp and it smells amazing.
01:38It's clear so it passed the chalk test.

01:40So I brought my lovely friend Asia to do a test run of the Cantu.

02:59I feel like a lot of people know about this brand.
03:01It's classic.

03:02I love that it has many choices.
03:04So if you, let's say your roots have grown out and you have gray or you have lighter roots,
03:10whatever, they've got brown, they have blonde, they have black.
03:13So not only do you get rid of the oil but you can also extend your color for longer.
03:18I love that.
03:19Double duo.
03:20Awesome.
03:20And the other thing I love about these is they have light and breezy.
03:26They have, where's the other one, clean and classic.
03:28So you have the tropical.
03:29Tropical.
03:30Vacation vibes.
03:31This literally smells like vacation.

03:41A tip though with all these dry shampoos that most people forget is you gotta shake it.

03:47Before you use it so you don't get chalky hair.

03:53So Gabriella has really dark hair.
03:56You can see how you're not seeing any of the powdery residue at all.
04:00So it's definitely getting rid of that oil.

04:10I love that it has the color in it and also it doesn't get on your hands after rubbing

04:16So for number four, we picked Herbal Essence.
04:19I can never get over their shower commercials.
04:23It doesn't work.
04:24Yes, this works.
04:25It passed the chalk test.
04:27It goes on clear.
04:29Makes your hair feel really refreshed, lightweight.
04:32I love that it has cucumber and green tea in it.
04:35So you kind of have this sort of like holistic experience in the bathroom.
04:38If you need a little like down time, you can grab this.
04:41When we were testing, Sunny said it's for the stressed out guy and girl.

04:49It doesn't tingle but it does feel really nice.
04:53Yeah.
04:53It doesn't feel wet or powdery or anything.
04:55Really when you apply dry shampoo, you're supposed to let it sit there for like a minute,
04:5930 seconds.
04:59Okay.
05:00So while that's happening, wash your hands, get rid of any grease, oil, residue, any dirt
05:06because dirt attracts oil and that can make your dry shampoo wear out quicker.
05:10So do that and then you want to go through and really like give yourself a nice scalp massage.
05:15Everyone needs one of those every day.
05:17It feels amazing.
05:18I can go for that.
05:19Get your friend to do it for you or your boyfriend if you want.
05:22If he's nice enough.
05:23We are on our very last dry shampoo pick.
05:27Number five.
05:28What is it?
05:29This golden goody Pantene Pro V dry shampoo.
05:34So this one is very powerful.
05:36The nozzle is fine mist, but it definitely sprays at a wide range.
05:42So if you're a super greasy girl, this is an easy go to.
05:46If you want volume, this is going to give you medium volume, not a ton, but it's definitely
05:51going to pick up your roots and give you kind of like an airy sort of feel.
05:55The trick with this one I learned is I really like how it smells and how it works, but you
06:00want to keep it far away because of how the nozzle sprays.
06:05So we kind of figured that out first on the arm test.
06:09Just, you know, pull your arm out a little bit.
06:11Oh my God.
06:14It's a very, very wide spray.
06:17I think a lot of people don't know that you can actually use dry shampoo on your hair
06:21when you're creating like an updo or your backcombing.
06:24So if you have that super silky, slippery hair that doesn't hold any style, this is really
06:30going to help you out.
