00:06Hair stylists, Instagrammers, beauty editors are all going crazy for this product because
00:11it gives you this nice beachy wavy texture without having to put in product after you
00:17step out of the shower.
00:18If you hate blow drying your hair, this is for you.
00:23It promises a lot, but the brand has always been really good to me, so I don't think it's
00:33going to hurt me.
00:34Here's the thing is, I don't have a lot of hair back here.
00:36There's not a lot to scrunch.
00:38For those who are naturally straight, if they start scrunching it, it'll come like this.
00:44Somebody who's a little bit wavier comes like this.
00:47I actually kind of hate blow drying my hair, so I'm really curious as to what is going
00:53to happen when I put this in my hair.
00:55Because my hair is so different from what the product is geared towards, that's where
01:00I'm a little bit curious to see what's going to happen next.

01:07So this is the before my kind of dirty, two day blowout, post blowout hair.
01:14Basically recommends you shampoo and condition your hair as usual.
01:18Then apply product energy to coat hair from roots to ends.
01:24Then lightly rinse, towel dry, scrunch, and then air dry.
01:28Okay, well I can't take you with me into the shower, but we'll do a little bit before and
01:33after and see how it goes.
01:35I'm just going to turn in the shower.
01:41And I'm literally just going to stick my head in, if I don't fall and die.
01:46There it is.
01:46You can see I use a lot of drugstore products, but really, this really stands out against my
01:52Doves and my Banteens.
01:53I love you Doves.
01:54I do.
01:55Too hot.
01:56First impressions.
01:58I'm a little confused as to how much product I'm supposed to put in my hair.
02:04And I don't really know if it makes a difference if I leave it in my hair before I rinse
02:11it.
02:11It says to lightly rinse.
02:14Not really sure how to lightly rinse.
02:16Am I supposed to leave some of the product in my hair?
02:18I don't really know what that looks like.
02:21I just rinsed out the In Shower Styler, so I'm just going to treat it like I normally
02:29would with any curl styler.
02:33It says to towel dry.
02:35I'm kind of scrunching and piling it on just like the instructions say I should.
02:39So I just got to work and my hair's still in my buns, so we're going to take it out.
02:46Not bad.
02:49Has some definition.
02:51Doesn't look too bad at all.
02:54I love it.
02:55It's the end of the day and my hair is officially dry.
02:59It's been lived in for a while.
03:02And I can really only say that while I don't have curls like I wanted to, I do have a
03:11lot
03:11of body.
03:12I have a lot of volume.
03:14And I think that if I had a little bit of product, maybe a little bit of gel, a little
03:20bit of salt spray, this would be pretty cute and totally wearable.
03:25I will say it's alright.
03:28Maybe this isn't my magic solve-all product.
03:31Maybe it is just putting it up or putting it in a braid just because that's what's going
03:36to save me time in the morning.
03:38But if I really want shiny hair, this product is great if I just have a little bit more time.
03:44So as a time-saving product, I'd give it maybe a 4 out of 10.
03:50I'd give this about a 6.5 or a 7 because, granted, it's not even meant for my own texture,
03:57but it did a pretty good job of giving it some definition whenever I incorporated it into my routine.
04:02I'm still going to go and buy my drugstore beauty browns.
04:05I love my herbal essences.
04:06I love my Dove soap.
04:08This just is a nice little boost.
04:10I think it might be worth the hype for girls with much straighter textures than mine.
04:15This is more sort of an experiment, but I'd still use the entire bottle, though.
