00:03In this video, I'm going to show you how to format your text on YouTube
00:06so that you can write not only in bold italics and strikethrough,
00:08but also in several different fonts.

00:15So we can write in bold italics or strikethrough on YouTube comments
00:18by simply starting a comment and to write in bold, you want to surround it by asterisks.
00:23So I'm just going to type an asterisks and then I'll type the text that I want bold.
00:27Then I'll just end that comment with an asterisks.
00:30And when I send that, as you can see, it is bold.
00:33If I want to do italics, I do the same thing, but with an underscore.
00:37So I'll type an underscore, then end it with an underscore.
00:41And when I send that, as you can see, it is an italics.
00:45And then finally, with a strikethrough, it's going to be the same thing,
00:48but with a hyphen surrounding it.
00:50So when I send that, as you can see, strikethrough.
00:52But there is another way where you can send not only text like this,
00:56but a lot of different fonts, and that's going to be using a free tool that I created
00:59called textrick.com.
01:01So once you get here, just simply type what you want right here.
01:04Then just scroll down and you'll see all the different fonts that are available
01:08that you can use on YouTube.
01:10So once you find something that you like, simply select it.
01:14It'll copy it.
01:15And then you go back to YouTube.
01:16When you make your comment, just paste that text in.
01:21And as you can see, it will post it in that font on YouTube.
