Resize an image on your iPhone without cropping any part of the photo. In this tutorial, I show you how to use ConvertResize to change the size or dimensions of a picture on your iPhone so the full image stays intact, which works great on the iPhone 15, iPhone 16, and other iOS devices in 2026. This means you can scale your photos to the exact size you need with ConvertResize without cutting off any of the original image.

00:00how to resize an image without cropping on iPhone.
00:02So unfortunately on the iPhone within the photos app,
00:05there is no way to resize a picture without actually cropping it.
00:10So what I recommend doing in order to resize without cropping is using a tool
00:13that I created called convert resize and I created convert resize.com because I
00:18wanted to be able to recommend a tool that does not require you to upload your
00:20photos or pictures to a server.
00:23All the tools on this website work directly in the browser on your iPhone or
00:26any other device and check the description of a link down there.
00:28So once you get to convert resize.com,
00:31you can either type resize in the search bar and it'll come up or just scroll
00:34down and under image editing, select image resizer.
00:37Once the image resizer opens up,
00:39select this little box and then choose where you want to find the photo,
00:43either in your photo library,
00:44you could take a photo or choose a file.
00:46So I'm going to do a photo library,
00:48find and select the photo on your phone and then select done.
00:51And then after that,
00:52it's going to show you the current size and the actual file size right there.
00:56So we have a couple of different options.
00:58You can either manually select the actual pixels and lower those,
01:02or we have presets where you can just lower it by 50%,
01:06something like that,
01:08or you can do max width.
01:10So I'm going to go ahead and just do 25%.
01:12And if I scroll up,
01:13once I select that,
01:14you can see the size go down as well as the dimensions.
01:16From there,
01:17you could choose the output format.
01:18I'll do PNG and then I'll select resize and download.
01:21And in here,
01:22you can either download it as a file or you could select view and then long,
01:26press it and save it to your photos.
