00:13beautiful beachy waves. Summer's here. We want to make sure that you can look your
00:16best and look trendy and stylish in a really simple and easy way. Here we have
00:21our beautiful model Lynette. She's gonna show you exactly how she achieved this
00:27beautiful beachy wave.
00:36In order to get really beautiful beachy waves for the summer, even if you're not
00:40in the beach, going to the beach, we really want to show you some great
00:43techniques in order to get there. So the first thing you want to do is take your
00:46hair, even if it's normally naturally quite straight, you want to saturate it a
00:50little bit with water. It doesn't have to be dripping wet, but you do want to soften
00:53up that hair so that way it's pliable when you set the product and the heat in there.
00:58And then from there, you're going to take Aveda Pure Abundance Style Prep and spray
01:01that all the way from roots to ends. And then take some Aveda Pure Abundance
01:06Potion and put that into your hair as well. And these products are going to help
01:09support the texture you're going to be creating with your diffuser. So what you're
01:14going to do is you're going to take a diffuser, high heat, medium blower, and tip your head upside down
01:19so you get a little bit more volume through the root. And then from there,
01:23you're going to diffuse your hair 100% until it's completely dry.
01:34When finished, to just define some of your look, you're going to take your flat iron
01:38and either do two techniques, a figure eight set with your fingers, wrapping the hair around your
01:44fingers in the figure eight set and then flat ironing that. And then the other option is to take a
01:49pin curl set, wrapping the hair around your fingers and supporting that with the heat.
01:59And then when it's all finished, you're going to take Aveda Light Elements
02:02Texturizing Cream and you're going to put that through the hair just to define some of the wave.
02:12And then just to support it to make sure that that hair stays all day,
02:15you're going to use some Aveda Control Force to help support the style.
02:29So I just gave you a quick instant makeover on how to get a beautiful beachy wave when you combine
02:34two very necessary ingredients, the right products, the right tools, the right technique,
02:38and you are all there to create what you need to look for this summer.
