00:46quite a lot of protests from the opposition led by the Congress with regards to the electoral process itself in

00:55They've come out to question the role of the Election Commission time and again
00:58and come out to now demand the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner, Yanesh Kumar.
01:06But their point is the NDA keeps winning elections because the CEC is batting for their team.
01:14The CEC is an umpire and that too, an umpire that's been hired by the NDA itself, by the BJP
01:22itself.
01:23These are the allegations that have come in from the Congress time and again.
01:27But when we speak of the MLC, MLC polls are conducted not via EVM,
01:32but they're connected, they are in fact conducted via the ballot system itself, the ballot box itself,
01:40the preferential ballot voting that takes place.
01:43So now the BJP comes and asks that even here we have come out in the four states,
01:49we have come out to garner big victories all across, sweeping victories in four states,
01:55and the Congress has somehow managed one MLC seat.
01:59What does that say about the mandate and what does that say about the confidence of the people
02:05in the electoral process as well as their faith in the NDA?
02:10These are just questions again that's being posed by both Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Shah.

02:21So, attacks continue of course from both sides and yes, given the ballot voting that takes place in the MLC
02:28elections,
02:29the NDA has been pointing out since yesterday when the first results had started coming in
02:35that where is the Congress now, where is the opposition now?
02:38They couldn't win much over like one MLC seat at this point.
02:45Well, that's right, Shreya.
02:46Yesterday we also saw a tweet which had come out from PN Narendra Modi where he highlighted
02:51that these elections had taken place over the ballot and imagine what is the condition of Congress party.
03:00Apart from PN Narendra Modi, we have seen various leaders of BJP also coming out and spamming Congress over this.
03:07In fact, Sudhamsa Primeiji, BJP spokesperson, had put out a post saying that Congress must retrospect,
03:13they must look into the reasons as to why they are losing.
03:17We still remember as to how Congress and other opposition leaders have been demanding that elections should be,
03:23elections should happen on ballot because there is a lot of event sampling is happening
03:29and that is happening at the behest of a modulate government.
03:34And when the ballot paper elections have happened,
03:36we are seeing how abysmal performance of Congress party is being witnessed.
03:41On all these aspects, BJP has been targeting Congress saying that on ballot paper also they are losing
03:47and they are just making issues out of non-issues.
