01:58So this is something that we are seeing the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi often speak
02:02about, a very clear rebuttal coming in from the Bharatiya Janta party talking about the
02:072018 Karnataka elections, also speaking about the fact that there were people within the
02:12Congress party, in fact, the ones who were speaking about the way in which names were
02:16being added, but it is Rahul Gandhi now who is speaking about the fact that vote churi
02:20is happening.
02:21Now, this, you know, moniker which is being given by Rahul Gandhi when he speaks about
02:25vote churi, he speaks about the fact that when the SIR is being done across the country,
02:29there are attempts being made to delete more people.

03:09has not come to power by itself in West Bengal for years, not come to power by itself in Telangana,
03:15in Andhra Pradesh, with a partner in Tamil Nadu for years, and as a result, it's just coming
03:19up with excuses which conveniently it forgets every time it wins elections in Kerala.
03:28Well, definitely, you know, this is what the BJP often has been speaking about, that whenever
03:33you or your allies, you win a state election, at that time, neither do you point fingers
03:37at the election commission, nor do you speak about the EVMs, but whenever you lose, that's
03:42the time when you start questioning the entire electoral process.
03:46But Rahul Gandhi, you know, on his part just 24 hours ago, was on the banks of Yamuna River
03:51here in the national capital, spoke with the ERO and said that out of 728 people, the names
04:00of 727 people were being removed.
04:04Also spoke about the fact that these people, their houses were demolished just a couple of
04:08days back, but it was the CEC, Gyanesh Kumar, and rightly so, you know, something that was
04:12pointed out by Rahul Gandhi.
04:14Gyanesh Kumar, the CEC, the chief election commissioner, in fact, a couple of months back had said that
04:19people who do not have homes, they also have a right to vote if they are Indian citizens
04:24against their names, against their house numbers, the number 00 will be given.
04:29So, you know, speaking about that, Rahul Gandhi said that there are people whose names are now
04:34being deleted, but the names should be added.
04:37And if the documentation is up to the mark, then it is the responsibility of the election
04:41commission of India, making sure that names are being added.
04:44But it's not just the Congress party.
04:46We speak about TMC, if we speak about Samajwadi party, you know, if we speak about the top
04:52opposition parties, all of them time and again have been pointing fingers at the election
04:56commission and the BJP and saying that there is systematic deletion of voters name from the
05:01voting list that has been going on over the past many years.
