00:02At this busy kebab shop, the lunchtime menu is proving far more appetising than the electoral
00:08picks on offer.
00:10It doesn't matter which leaders will be in power, good or bad, they're all crap in
00:15the end.
00:15They care about themselves.
00:1825,000 people used to live in Kiryat Shemona, near the Israel-Lebanon border, but years
00:24of war, including rocket and drone attacks from Lebanon's Hezbollah, forced thousands
00:28to flee, and only around half the population has returned.
00:34The story of Kiryat Shemona is going to be a tragic story.
00:38A city in the north of the state, a strong city, a good city, a beautiful city, is stuck.
00:44Shimon Kamari argues the city has been abandoned by Benjamin Netanyahu's government, but he
00:50also fears many in this conservative stronghold won't change their vote at the upcoming election.
00:57Likud flows in their blood, and it seems to me that it's very difficult to get it out
01:02of them.
01:04Can you tell someone who has lived with his wife for 20 years that 20 years is enough?
01:09Replace her?
01:10No.
01:11Four years ago, almost half of Kiryat Shemona's residents voted for Netanyahu and Likud.
01:17That support is still apparent today.
01:21We want a leader who will do what he does, take care of the enemies in the right way.
01:26He leads the country in a measured manner.
01:29But this time around, Netanyahu is facing an increasingly fractured political landscape.
01:36This culture that took root in the state of Israel, the culture of lies, we have to change
01:41it.
01:41And I believe that the four parties of change headed by Eisencott will be able to bring
01:46us back on track.
01:48Cities like this one have quite literally been on the front line of the rolling wars Israel
01:53has been involved in over the last few years.
01:56But the discussions that residents are having here about political leadership are not unique.
02:01They are happening right across the country, as voters weigh up whether to stay the course
02:06or opt for a different direction.
02:10Bibi needs to go to America and sit there with Trump to smoke grass together and have
02:14a good life.
02:15That's it.
02:16Or he'll sit here in prison, one of the two.
02:20Food for thought.
