00:15More than 25 years ago his beloved wife Gladys was diagnosed with breast cancer.
00:20She died on their 44th wedding anniversary.
00:23He's worn pink every day since in her honour.
00:26I got called all sorts of names when I first started wearing pink.
00:30When I explained to them why, yeah they changed their attitude.
00:35Embraced by the Kilcoy community, the 85 year old spends his time fundraising.
00:41What started as one man's mission has united the entire town, as they now band together
00:47to push for better cancer care across all regional areas.
00:50We need people who can care for people in their homes without them having to drive for
00:59hundreds of kilometres.
01:01Despite his own lung cancer diagnosis, Harold's determined to keep fighting, all while wearing

01:09And that is the age of 80 years old.
