00:00Let's talk about the contrast between the Latin Asian teams.
00:04The men, both of them, Juarez and Tigres,
00:09vanished to the bottom of the table with terrible performances.
00:12Tigres a little bit wishy-washy, a little bit better than Juarez.
00:16Juarez is a terrible, terrible team.
00:18But on the other side, we have Las Tigresas, Las Amazonas,
00:21and Las Bravas performing at the highest level
00:25in second and fourth place in Group A.
00:28Hey, what exciting time to be watching Liga I Make is familiar.
00:33It is indeed.
00:35It's a tale of two clubs playing in two completely different styles.
00:41We see that here in the United States,
00:43the men's will do one thing, the ladies will do another thing.
00:45Usually the ladies are absolutely slaying,
00:47while the guys are always disappointing us.
00:49But back to this league in particular, I think you put it well.
00:53It is two kind of dueling stories between these two teams
00:56that are very close right now.
00:58Tigres sitting pretty at 28 points, Juarez with 24.
01:01They're neck and neck, you could say, just a few points between them.
01:04But what's interesting is when you get down to the minutia,
01:08you see that Tigres has scored way more goals than Juarez.
01:12But that doesn't really seem to set them apart too much.
01:15What's interesting is how much Juarez has offset
01:18maybe less of a goal scoring capacity with amazing defensive powers, right?
01:24And I think that that's really helped them.
01:26They don't have a Ferdi.
01:27They don't have an Ordoñez or a Reyes.
01:29But they're able to sort of be just this like rock in the back.
01:33And their defense has put them exactly where they are.
01:36And they still have a chance to climb it higher.
01:40They have been playing really well.
01:41But this is not a surprise.
01:43If you've been following Liga MX Femenil for the last few years,
01:47Juarez is a team that slowly has been building this momentum.
01:51The last two Liguillas, they made it really difficult
01:53to both Tigres and America to beat them.
01:561-0 both games in different circumstances.
01:59But the reality is that Juarez has been working really, really hard
02:02to become one of the best Femenino teams in the competition.
02:07Now, Tigres, for me, is the standard of Liga MX this season.
02:13They're having competition.
02:14But if Tigres is having competition in Liga MX Femenil,
02:18that means that the Liga is coming to a really high level.
02:21It means that Monterrey, that Juarez and Toluca,
02:24the four teams that are right now qualifying in Group A,
02:27are playing at a world-class level.
02:29Let's go to Group B.
02:31And just in the meantime, letting everybody know
02:33that this is how Liga MX is playing this tournament
02:36for the first time.
02:37Two groups of nine teams,
02:39the top four qualifying to the playoffs.
02:41Y Nick, por todos lados estás ganando, my friend.
02:45Con los hombres y las mujeres,
02:47el América in first place on Group B with 28
02:50at the standard of Tigres and Monterrey.
02:53And then Chivas, again, also in the top places,
02:57just like the men's side.
02:59And Atlético de San Luis and Pumas.
03:01Me encanta ver que las mujeres de los equipos que seguimos, Nick,
03:06they're actually doing something
03:07donde los hombres están ahí perplejos.
03:12They don't know what to do.
03:13They don't know how to perform.
03:15But the ladies, they're sacando la casta.
03:18Hey, not the case with America.
03:21America, just like, you know.
03:23America right now on the femenino side,
03:25defending champions.
03:28Most, I would say, I would argue,
03:30most prolific attacking team in the league right now.
03:34Number two, Chivas.
03:35They're trying to prove that they can be,
03:38you know, they can challenge the elite again.
03:39They've already beaten America once in this calendar year.
03:43So, you know, proving they can do it.
03:45It's neck and neck, very similar to the boys' side.
03:49Let's go take a look at the fixtures
03:51before we have to go on the next break.
03:53But look at that Chivas, dominating 7-0.
03:56Purnet Caxa, zero points, my friend.
03:58Zero points in the competition.
04:00And this weekend, we have...
04:0110-0, by the way, double digits.
04:04No, no, no, it's terrible.
04:05Atlético de San Luis versus America is an important game
04:08because Atlético de San Luis is trying to maintain themselves
04:10in that qualification zone.
04:12And America is going to make it difficult to them.
04:14And Pachuca probably winning.
04:16They're not doing well,
04:17although they were one of the powerful teams.
04:19Juarez here in Latination, my friends,
04:21versus Querétaro.
04:22It's going to be un partidazo.
04:24And Tigres-Monterrey.
04:25This is probably una final adelantada.
04:28This is two of the very best teams in the competition.
04:31That is the game for me to watch this Sunday.
04:34What are your predictions for that game?
04:36Oof.
04:39Tigres.
04:39Tigres.
04:40I got to put my money on Tigres.
04:42Let's do it.
04:43El equipo de casa, my friends.
