00:00This is the story of three teams.
00:02Absolutely.
00:02Sus favoritas, el América, Tigres y Monterrey por ahí.
00:07Juárez también.
00:08But talk to me.
00:10How is it breaking down?
00:11We're close to the playoffs.
00:13This new format is very, very exciting.
00:15The two groups.
00:15Where do you want to start?
00:17Absolutely.
00:17I mean, let's start at the top of the leaderboard.
00:19Who is leading after Jornada 10?
00:22Obviously, we have Monterrey with 27 points, but close behind them.
00:26Tigres and América both having 25.
00:29America leads Group B, but Chivas is next with 21 points.
00:34And right now, we also have Juárez right up there securing their playoff spot for Group A.
00:39Let's take a look at the standings right here.
00:41We love to see our Latin Nation team doing so well.
00:44But so far, these are the standings.
00:46Monterrey definitely being able to get up there.
00:48They snuck their way up there, and I'm happy to see it, honestly.
00:52That's right, Camila.
00:53Monterrey-Tigres, a rivalry that goes decades into the past.
00:58That has been one of the most exciting things to watch in Liga and Mekis Battle.
01:03Now, it comes to Liga and Mekis Femenil and continues to deliver.
01:07We see that they really have a very, very equal pace in this competition.
01:15Two points of difference is not that much.
01:17But we also see that they're very close with Toluca and Juárez.
01:21Not completely there, but we just won a couple of games behind.
01:27Might make all the difference.
01:28So competitive to see this season of Liga and Mekis.
01:29At least in Group A, it was incredibly competitive.
01:32I still have a lot of belief that we're going to advance and have Liguilla right here in Latin Nation.
01:37But let's go back to the games, because I think we have to talk about Group B.
01:41Let me pull it up.
01:43Porque it was...
01:45Ahí, como puedes ver, si está dura la cosa.
01:48And America and Chivas, again, two classic rivalries of Liga and Mekis disputing the first spot in each of the
01:56groups.
01:57Absolutely.
01:58I think, listen, when I analyze this game and how every team is, I think all of the top three
02:03contenders, we see them scoring in bunches, right?
02:05They score high quantities.
02:08So I think at the end of the day, goal differential could be the tiebreaker.
02:11Monterrey have the best points total, but they only beat America by one goal.
02:15So I wouldn't call them the favorites so far.
02:18I think, however, America's defense gave up three goals to Monterrey earlier in the season.
02:22So this could definitely be a big issue once we officially get into the playoffs.
02:27Because if we know one thing about Liga and Mekis is once you get into the playoffs, it's anybody's game.
02:33I know that I don't get to say this too often on Liga and Mekis Femenil.
02:38Pero cuidado con los Pumas.
02:40Cuidado con las Pumas, because finally they see themselves in playoff territory, fourth place in Group B.
02:46Ganándole al Atlas de Luis, para que veas quién manda.
02:49Por favor, Luis, te mando un saludo.
02:51Pumas hasta arriba de la tabla, vamos.
02:53But this makes me think, let's set up potentially the games in playoffs, Camila.
02:59And so we have American first place that will go against nuestras poderosísimas bravas de Juárez
03:05that have been having a great tournament.
03:06And this could be dangerous for America.
03:09We saw them already making it difficult for Tigres in the playoffs a year ago.
03:15And now we see that Juárez might be able, you know,
03:18de hacerle la travesura a las águilas, Camila.
03:20Do you think it's possible in that, in ese hipotético futuro?
03:24I think it's definitely possible.
03:26If we look at the top four teams and we see their most recent games,
03:29they're all in really, really great form.
03:31I wouldn't say that Juárez is not also so far behind, right?
03:36I think that definitely once we get into the playoffs,
03:38it's going to be more of a mental game and who can stay the strongest,
03:41especially with Liga Mekis Femenini.
03:43We see the top four teams always have such excellent players.
03:46So I think it's really going to be about depth of roster, however,
03:49because a lot of these teams, they have their star players.
03:51But, you know, if those star players ended up getting injured,
03:55I don't really know how much depth will be in some of these rosters.
03:58The other side of the equation, we have Monterrey and Tigres
04:00fighting to get that first spot because then you avoid Chivas,
04:05you avoid America, and then you have more accessible rivals
04:08like Atlas, Pumas, and San Luis for you to deal in the first round of playoffs.
04:12Should we look into upcoming games happening this weekend?
04:15Let's do this. Let's do this right now.
04:18Take me to the picture.
04:20Chivas ganándole a Juárez, Toluca, Pachuca,
04:23y este fin de semana, Camila.
04:25We have Puebla versus Tijuana.
04:27It's a game that teams are fighting for,
04:31maybe scratching the surface, but not really consequential.
04:33Monterrey, an opportunity to set themselves apart
04:36from the competition towards the end of the season.
04:39And then this game, that for me is one of the most important games
04:42of the season for Pumas and Atlas.
04:45This game will basically decide which one has the most possibilities
04:50to make it to the playoffs.
04:52They are, este es un partido de seis puntos, como les dicen, Camila.
04:55Definitely. If you ask me, this is the game of the weekend, right?
04:59Pumas and Atlas are both fighting for that fourth place.
05:02If we remember, Liga MX family had a whole restructuring this season.
05:06So now there's not going to be nothing about plans.
05:08It's going to be the top four teams on each side of the bracket.
05:11And that is it.
05:12So it is extremely important.
05:15Both of these teams are going to want to win it
05:17if they want to go to the playoffs.
