00:00But should we take a look at first at the standings in Group A?
00:03Because we know that both of our Latin Nation teams, Tigres and Juarez,
00:08are doing very, very well, at least on the women's side.
00:11You can't say the same for the men's, but on the women's side,
00:14they are really pulling through.
00:15Tigres, we know, we can see it here, sitting in first place,
00:19doing extremely well.
00:21Toluca right under them, Monterrey, and then Juarez in fourth place.
00:25This is very surprising.
00:26When you look at the men's side, they're sitting in dead last,
00:3118th place right now.
00:32Not on the women's, however, so we can give them props for that.
00:35We have León in fifth place, Santos in sixth place, Cruz Azul in seventh,
00:40Atlante in eighth, and Queretaro sitting in ninth place.
00:44Marce, what do you make out of this table so far?
00:48Look, first of all, I have to congratulate Las Amazonas,
00:51the former champions, Tigresas.
00:55They're playing at a very high level.
00:57Everybody was afraid of what will happen with Tigres.
01:00When Jenny Hermoso went back to Europe, nothing happened.
01:03They got better, if you will.
01:04You know, the proof is in the pudding.
01:06They are having a better tournament this time around.
01:09Also, Las Bravas de Juarez representing for a team that right now
01:14is underperforming greatly under their budget for the men's side.
01:18In last place, where they have one of the best coaches available,
01:22Caixinha last season, they couldn't do anything with the team.
01:25But now, Las Mujeres están rifando por la frontera.
01:29I'm very happy to see.
01:30And you can catch these great teams here on Latin Nation every weekend
01:34on their home games.
01:36Camila, exciting time for Mexican football.
01:39Absolutely.
01:39A quick snapshot of our team's last game.
01:43Juarez getting a 1-0 defeat this past Saturday over Cruz Azul.
01:48Definitely a really good win for them.
01:49And Tigres defeating Pachuca 2-0 this past weekend as well.
01:54Really, you know, building that momentum.
01:56And hopefully they continue that throughout the season.
01:59Let's look at the games that Juarez has been playing.
02:03They lost on the opening with Tigres.
02:05Then they went to Juarez.
02:07Then, you know, they received Santos and they won.
02:10They received Cruz Azul and they won.
02:11And now they face Atlante that comes back into the circuit.
02:15The very, very first season for the Atlante women's team.
02:19And then ahead of them, Necaxa, Leon, and Cholos.
02:22It seems like the calendar is favoring Juarez right now, Camila.
02:26Let's take a look at Tigres and what their fixtures.
02:30Like we said, they beat Juarez.
02:31Great win.
02:32Then they beat Cruz Azul 3-0.
02:34Then they beat Pachuca, which is not a bad team, Camila.
02:37Pachuca has proven to be one of the best teams in Liga MX Femenil 2-0.
02:42And now they go against Santos Laguna, America, Toluca.
02:46And it seems that Tigres is going to have a harder calendar in the upcoming weeks.
02:51What do you make out of this?
02:53Definitely.
02:53I think this game against America September 13th is going to be the game to watch.
02:57If you don't watch a lot of women's football, if you don't watch a lot of Liga MX,
03:01this is a game to watch.
03:03Tigres, America, it has been this, you know, brewing rivalry between the two best of the
03:08best in women's, in Mexican women's soccer so far.
03:11America coming out on top this past championship.
03:14So it's definitely going to be a really, really good match.
03:18These are the two first place teams.
03:19And probably one, if not both of these teams, are going to be making it into the final again
03:23this season.
03:24This is El Duelo de las Meras, Meras de Liga MX Femenil.
03:29These are the two most consistent teams in the last two or three years in Liga MX.
03:33Pachuca y Monterrey, you know, they're trying to break into that level.
03:38But, you know, it's Tigres and America and then the rest of Liga MX.
03:42Now, Cami, let's bring up real quickly Group B.
03:46It's important that we check the other side of the equation.
03:48I think you're going to be happy about this one.
03:50Oh, my God.
03:53Me encanta, Camila, que the female teams, las mujeres están rifando en todos los equipos
03:58que del lado de hombres, they're not performing well.
04:01We are seeing the women sacar frente y respetar el escudo, llevarlo a lo alto.
04:08Break it down.
04:09I know, I know, America in first place in both men and women.
04:14America is having a revival.
04:15The organization is really putting effort not only on splashy signings, but also a sustainable,
04:25consistent team in both divisions is very impressive.
04:29Atlético de San Luis, second place.
04:32Pumas and Chivas right there, completando the top four.
04:35Remember, only the top four teams advance to the playoffs.
04:39There's no playing, there's no qualifying there with like, you know, playing the eighth
04:45and the ninth and the tenth place.
04:46No, the top four of each group move on to the play.
04:49So it's going to be close, but Chivas and Chivas are going to be fighting for that.
04:53What do you make out of this Group B of the guy making feminino?
04:57Definitely.
04:57I think I see a lot more dark horses coming through Group B, especially Chivas.
05:02This is a team and a squad that played really, really well, especially the women's.
05:06They played really well last playoff season, and I really see them being a dark horse.
05:11They've got that consistency.
05:12They've got a deep roster full of really good, young, talented subs.
05:16So I definitely see them, you know, definitely, maybe, hopefully not, but maybe climbing above
05:22Pumas, above San Luis.
05:24And yeah, I would not put them too far behind.
