00:00Now it's time to talk and dedicate a good amount of time to probably the most famous game in history.
00:06Probably the most iconic game in European football, at least for sure.
00:12And I'm talking about El Clásico Español.
00:14Barcelona versus Real Madrid is happening at the Camp Nou this weekend.
00:19And Nick, it's going to be an exciting game.
00:22We see Barcelona that comes from struggling in Champions League getting whooped by PSG.
00:30And Real Madrid that, you know, always gets re-energized after the Champions League games because they always find a
00:38way to get the result.
00:40But now they face the top team in La Liga, Barcelona, way ahead of everybody else, almost with a perfect
00:47pace.
00:48And Real Madrid has struggled a lot.
00:50Mourinho has not been able to really create a sustainable system.
00:56But, but, as usual, he has a team that is doing everything they can.
01:02They are doing so much sacrifice to fit his idea, his defensive origin, and his defensive ethos.
01:10But at the same time, little by little, they are creating this belief that they are the Real Madrid of,
01:18you know, winning streaks and going and doing these big games.
01:23In my opinion, I think Barcelona has the edge.
01:27What do you think?
01:29It's very easy to think that.
01:31Not almost perfect streak.
01:33They're on a perfect streak.
01:34They're sitting at 27 points, nine straight wins.
01:37They clearly have the momentum.
01:39They're unbeaten in the league.
01:41Yes, they're not doing so great in the Champions League.
01:44But we hold Barcelona to a very high standard.
01:47Sometimes a little bit unfairly just because they have such high expectations for them.
01:51However, keep this in mind.
01:53Madrid has a big problem.
01:55Okay?
01:56It's not just that they're facing a very strong Barça.
01:58Their big problem is Vinny Jr. suspended after receiving the four-match ban.
02:03Calón de Pelo.
02:05Was it against Villarreal?
02:06Yeah.
02:06The red card against Villarreal.
02:08So, that's going to put a lot more responsibility on Mbappe, Bellingham, right?
02:15But without him, things are going to look a lot, you know, different.
02:18And so, it's going to be a very tactical match with Mourinho versus Flick and the two minds going head
02:26-to-head.
02:26But, man, Laminya Mall, as I was saying earlier, is just such a beautiful player to watch on the ball.
02:32It's just, he has that grace.
02:34He has that excitement.
02:36He's so explosive.
02:36He's so fast.
02:37He really brings an energy that's hard to defend against.
02:39So, we're going to have to see.
02:41But, I put my money on Barça, too, my dude.
02:44Another big player that is going to be decisive in this game is going to be Rodri.
02:48I think that whatever happens with him, he is going to dictate the pace of the competition and of the
02:55game.
02:55Because he's that influential player that can change the game.
02:59But, also, I think that Rafinha has a big responsibility in this game to really prove why he's the best
03:05player in La Liga right now.
03:07For me, he's been playing really, really well.
03:10So, and these games are so important because it's not only about bragging rights.
03:17Also, it's about setting the narrative for the rest of the tournament.
03:21Let me pull the standings real quick.
03:23Look, Barcelona with 27 points, 9 out of 9, perfect pace.
03:28And, behind them, Atletico de Madrid, Real Madrid in third place.
03:33But, the distance is clear.
03:34Six points, two games in hand for Barcelona.
03:37And, Real Betis is also doing a really good job.
03:40Real Sociedad and Sevilla are completing that top six.
03:44Barca wins.
03:45And, they're up nine points over Madrid, right?
03:49So, it's not just like a first place versus third place kind of thing.
03:53This is an undefeated Barcelona trying to open up an extremely commanding lead in the title race early on to
04:00the point no one can catch them.
04:02Madrid, obviously, has an opportunity to cup the gap to three points.
04:05So, it's going to be, it's kind of like our Trafico over here.
04:10If Galaxy wins were down by three, if you guys, when you extend it up, you know, another nine points.
04:16So, it's like six points, rather.
04:18So, it's a lot riding on this, right?
04:21It's close, but it's not close at the same time.
04:24Look at the form of Real Madrid, though.
04:26After losing el otro clásico con los colchoneros del Atlético de Madrid,
04:30now, they have four wins in a row, including the heroics of the 3-4 in Champions League on matchday
04:37number two against Roma.
04:39And, then, coming to Lesbic and really, you know, dominating again in Champions League.
04:45100%.
04:45It's going to be an amazing match no matter how you cut it up.
04:48This is going to be one of the, this is, we got like a, we got like a outside of
04:54the season Champions League matchup right here,
04:57you know, on top of Champions League happening.
04:59That's why this, this part, this time of the year is like my favorite when, when everything sort of collide.
05:03You just have amazing football everywhere you look from North America to Europe to, you know, it's, it's, it's going
05:08to be cool.
05:09It's going to be fun.
