00:08I'm in the company of Mr. Gelichi from the Iranian National Committee. Hi, welcome.
00:13Thank you very much for your time and I'm glad to be here with the secret person.
00:20You're welcome. How long have you been involved in Secret Iran as a secretary?
00:26Secret Iran has been active for more than 20 years and I'm in charge of the secretariat of Secret Iran
00:41around eight months.
00:43Okay, so it's new. What are your main roles?
00:46The relation with Secret is very valuable for us.
00:53We use the experiences of other countries for the solutions of issues in power industry in Iran through the technical
01:06brochures and national committees in other countries.
01:11So what does it feel to be here at Paris session 2022?
01:15Oh, it's very nice because after four years, we didn't have our colleagues. We miss them and we are happy
01:27to be here and had meeting and negotiate with them face to face in person. Yeah.
01:35So the top leading subject this year is, of course, energy transition. How Iran and your national committee is dealing
01:43with climate change and all the issues?
01:46It's very important for us. We participate in Q2 resolution and power summit. In both of them, we committed to
02:03fulfill our social responsibilities in this regard.
02:10And also, we are very active in renewable energy. Our plan is to have 20% of electricity and energy
02:25in the grid in the next 10 years.
02:32Okay. Yeah. And in Iran, renewable energy field focuses on photovoltaic, wind, solar and geothermal. The first geothermal power plants
02:49will be connected to grid next year.
02:53And also, we focus for the build lithium battery manufacture for electric vehicles and compensate the energy from low energy
03:15of the renewable sources because it's very important.
03:20So I think everything is going on.
03:23So I think everything is going on here into the session. All the exhibitors are really interesting for you to
03:28share.
03:30Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It was so amazing for us. We get a lot of ideas for the management of
03:42the assets in the grid and maintain the grid and also lowering carbon footprint.
03:53Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's very interesting and hope we participate for the next session.
04:03Next session. Thank you for sharing this with us.
