00:22Singapore International Energy Week Sioux 2025 has just begun here at SANS Expo and Convention Centre,

00:29bringing together global energy leaders to tackle Asia's biggest challenge,

00:34securing clean, reliable and affordable power.

00:37Over the next few days, discussions will center on regional integration,

00:41energy resilience and the technologies expected to drive the next decade.

00:46We have a very diverse group of speakers, very senior leaders from across the government industry

00:55who are here at SEAL to share various perspectives, whether it is about regional interconnectivity,

01:02about energy technologies or about policy changes that are needed in order to facilitate this.

01:08A lot of the discussion that is both at the SEAL Summit as well as some of the exhibitions here

01:14is how we develop a smart energy grid that combines the integration of very diverse energy sources

01:21from traditional oil and gas to renewable energy.

01:25How do we combine that with energy storage systems to make sure that the grid is stable

01:30and the grid can always provide the right amount of power that consumers demand.

01:34With ministers, industries and international bodies at the table,

01:39EU 2025 is expected to produce new collaborations and clearer pathways for the region's energy transition.
