00:00Rush, we'll ask you, do you think there's going to be big changes, small changes, no changes with this Dodger
00:08franchise and what they're going to do moving forward?
00:11Yeah, I really think small changes, Dan.
00:14I think, you know, the big superstars of this team are going to come back next season.
00:19You're going to have, you know, Otani, Yamamoto, Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, Max Muncy.
00:23You go down the list. What they do lose is these clubhouse guys, which is why I think that they're
00:29not going to be as good moving forward.
00:31They are older. They were already the oldest team in the league.
00:34But when you lose a Miguel Rojas, when you lose a Kike Hernandez, those are the clubhouse guys.
00:40That's the glue of the team. Those are the voices when you're down, you know, 3-1 in a series
00:46that gets the guys together.
00:49And so both of those guys are going to be gone. Miguel Rojas was retiring.
00:53Kike's considering it. He may go to another team.
00:57The superstars will remain, but the glue guys, the guys who really made this such a championship team these last
01:04two years, they will miss those guys for sure.
01:06It's the greatest era of Dodger baseball in the franchise's history, going all the way back to Brooklyn, too.
01:13Scoble, do you think they are the frontrunners to get him and bring him back?
01:17I know the Padre name was brought up. The Mets obviously will be in that conversation, too.
01:23Do you still think, though, that the Dodgers are the leader in the clubhouse on this guy?
01:28They are. I think if the Mets want him, they will get him, though.
01:32I think the Dodgers will make a very competitive offer for Tarek Scoble.
01:36I think that is a contract they would like to get done before this work stoppage.
01:40But if the Mets swoop in and they're like, this is the guy that we want, I don't think the
01:44Dodgers are going to go crazy.
01:46They're not going to exceed a crazy figure.
01:49They have a number in mind, short-term contract.
01:53They will have a competitive offer.
01:55But something tells me, Dan, that Tarek Scoble will be on the New York Mets next season.
