00:00The best half of any receiver in football was Zay Flowers last week.
00:04He had eight catches, 150 yards.
00:05He left with a hamstring issue.
00:07They said, of course, after the game that he'd be okay
00:10and then told us on Monday that he would be just fine.
00:13And as the week went on, we learned that would not be the case.
00:15So Zay Flowers, Joe, not going to play today for the Baltimore Ravens.
00:19And it does sound a little bit like they're preparing for a long season
00:24and being more precautionary with this.
00:26If this was maybe a playoff game, maybe he'd play
00:28or a clinching playoff game, maybe he'd play.
00:31But naturally, Lamar Jackson going to have to find some other weapons here on Sunday.
00:37And usually when other guys are active, he does do that.
00:40But Zay Flowers coming off that really incredible half,
00:43unfortunately for him, hopefully not a long-term hamstring issue.
00:48Yeah, and look, I'll take the L on this one because I was skeptical.
00:51I wanted to see what the Ravens were going to be offensively going into this year.
00:54It's a whole different kind of offense now that we're looking.
00:56Same personnel, but different situation.
00:59And I got to say, it was incredibly impressive.
01:02Now, does that carry over this week?
01:04I think it will.
01:05And unfortunately, not having Zay Flowers as a part of that
01:08makes it a little bit more complicated.
01:09Once again, we're going to look to that tight end position
01:11to maybe be expanded a little bit more.

01:16His role expanded.
01:17The other kind of killer for this team is,
01:19I think Jacoby Lane is a player that I know I like a lot.
01:22And I know a lot of folks out there do as well,
01:24but he goes to the IR this week too.
01:26So it's not just Flowers missing.
01:27It's Lane as well.
01:28So he can't step into that role,
01:30which means Rashad Bateman is going to have to step into that,
01:32which we've seen before.
01:33And I want to use the word underwhelming for the most part
01:35when it comes to Rashad Bateman.
01:37Now, he could be useful today.
01:39Certainly a streaming option, a lot of fantasy leagues,
01:42but in a wagering standpoint, very difficult to count on.
01:45Instead, I would just imagine it's just a lot of Derrick Henry,
01:47a lot of Lamar Jackson run the football.
01:49And it was cool to see Lamar Jackson run the football
01:52and at the goal line.
01:53That's something that's kind of pulled back in recent years.
01:55We saw it in week one.
01:57So maybe just maybe in 2026,
01:59we're going to see a rebirth of Lamar Jackson
02:01and that RPO situation at the goal line
02:04be a little bit more productive for actually Lamar
02:06starting to run in some more touchdowns himself again.
