00:00To recover your PlayStation Network PSN account, when you do not remember or entered a fake
00:04date of birth, you must bypass the automated birthday verification by using the official
00:09support chatbot or retrieving the link birthday through a connected service.
00:13The standard automated password reset page requires your date of birth, so you will need
00:17to interact with Sony's support assistant to verify your identity.
00:21Go to the official PlayStation support page, click on account and security, and navigate
00:26to the password reset or account recovery options.
00:28Launch the online assistant chatbot to state that you need help with covering your account
00:33and that you do not remember or have access to the date of birth you used, especially if
00:37it was a placeholder or fake DOB created when you were a minor.
00:40If the bot cannot complete the reset automatically, ask to be transferred to a live support agent.
00:46Be prepared to provide alternative verification details to prove ownership of the account,
00:51which may include your first and last name, your sign-in ID email address,
00:57your PSN online ID, username, a recent transaction ID, or receipt from PlayStation Store purchases.
01:04Method two, check by a linked EA account if applicable.
01:07If you previously linked your PSN account to an electronic arts EA game like FIFA, EA Sports FC,
01:13Apex Legends, or Battlefield, your PlayStation profile data is often synced with your EA profile.
01:18Go to EA.com and log in or create an account using the same email address tied to your PSN
01:24account.
01:25Navigate to account settings.
01:26Look under About Me or Profile Information.
01:29Check the date of birth listed on your EA profile.
01:32It often mirrors the date of birth pulled from or shared with your linked PlayStation Network account.
01:36Use that date of birth to complete the standard PlayStation password reset flow.
