Cockroach Janata Party founder Abhijeet Dipke has been released from police custody after furnishing a surety of fifty thousand rupees and signing a peace bond. Under the terms of the bond, Dipke is restricted from participating in actions that could lead to public peace disturbance. Following his release, Dipke posted on social media featuring an image of detained associates Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, stating he is waiting for them to be freed. Meanwhile, ground reports indicate that the party is re-evaluating its protest strategy after experiencing declining turnout across recent demonstrations. With the festival season approaching, the group is expected to temporarily halt physical street protests while continuing its social media campaign. The party legal head confirmed that Dipke received bail and expressed confidence that detained colleagues would also secure release shortly.

00:00We begin this bulletin with latest news updates coming in about the CJP founder Abhijee Dipke
00:06who's been released from the police custody.
00:09He has issued first reaction after his release from the police custody and he has written
00:15on X.
00:16He has written a post in which he's posted a photograph and said, now I'm waiting for
00:21my brothers to be free.
00:23Well, the photograph is of Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka sitting behind a wire mesh when they
00:32were taken into custody and he has posted that photograph and said that now I'm just
00:36waiting for my brothers to be free.
00:39So does that signify some sort of a strategy?
00:42Is it pointing towards or signaling towards the fact that they might be pausing or waiting
00:48for them to come out of the police custody and then go forward with their protest or
00:54their campaign?
00:56That is something we will wait and see.
00:59But the big news coming in right now is that Abhijee Dipke has been released.
01:03He gave a surety of 50,000 rupees.
01:06He signed the peace bond and he's free now.
01:09Although he has restrictions on him, he cannot indulge in any kind of an action which can
01:14lead to any public peace disturbance and he has given that in writing with his bond and
01:21now he has posted on social media.
01:25He has posted a photograph of Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka and said that I am waiting
01:31for my brothers to be free.
01:33So we need to analyze this further and understand whether this is some sort of a pause in his
01:39strategy.
01:40Are they going to wait for the other two leaders to come out of jail and then only proceed
01:46forwards with any sort of protest or marches or rallies that they have been doing recently?
01:52That remains to be seen.
01:54But one thing is clear that he has stated very clearly that he is waiting for his brother
02:00in arms to join him soon.
02:02Now joining us now is India Today's Anshul Singh who has been tracking this entire issue
02:10and has been at the police station where Abhijit was and later at his home also where he's
02:17been staying at the house of the NCP spokesperson.
02:21But Anshul do tell us we see this photograph and this post along with it.
02:27One thing is clear of course that he is waiting for his comrades to come out.
02:31But does this signal any sort of strategy that you can make out from this?
02:39Could it be a pause, wait for the rest of them to come out and then proceed forward, not
02:43do anything in haste, nothing tomorrow, nothing day after tomorrow, wait for the five days
02:47to be over?
02:52Well, definitely that is what it is seeming like as the festival season is also upon us
02:57and hence, especially over the last two calls that were given from the side of the Kaukas
03:03Janta Party, the kind of traction that was expected, the number of people that were expected
03:07on the ground, both from the side of the CGP and that was predicted from the side of the
03:11Delhi Police as well, the number was way less.
03:13So, now the strategy is being rethought of at this point in time.
03:19There is a rethinking that is being done by the CGP and since the festival season is also
03:23around the corner, in fact it is upon us, the Dashara celebrations will happen in just
03:27a few days from now.
03:29So, we can expect that there could be a brief pause that can be given from the side of the
03:33CGP as well till the time the festival seasons are done away with so that there could be some
03:39breathing space that could be given to the CGP as well because they have constantly
03:43been on the road since the 2nd of October itself and since then, one day after the other there
03:49have been constant calls, constant protests that have been happening.
03:52So, the number of people who were becoming a part of these protests, that is going down
03:56and that is something that is a sign of worry for the CGP as well and hence, it is very
04:01very
04:02likely that they will pause these agitations for the next few days, specifically on the streets.
04:07However, on social media, they will continue to maintain the trends and they will continue
04:11to go ahead and post videos or the other ways through which they are trying to put their
04:17influence through social media.
04:18So, the social media work will go on but the fight on the roads that was happening since
04:22the 2nd of October, that could see a brief pause due to the festivals that are upon us and then
04:27post that again.
04:28you could expect some more calls of protest and the fighting on the states to happen to
04:34actually resume yet again.
04:36Thank you very much, Anshul, for those details.
04:38So, clearly, a slight pause over there but there are enough legal hurdles in the way of
04:44CJP.
04:44Let's listen to what the legal head of CJP said.
04:47Thank you very much, Anshul.
05:04Thank you very much, Anshul.
05:05I am very sorry, Anshul.
05:05This is my language.
05:05I am very sorry.
