Leaders of the CGP are set to visit the Parliament Street Police Station in Delhi to seek permission and a date for a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar, issuing an ultimatum for a response within 24 hours. The development follows police denial of permission citing delayed application and previous non-compliance during an earlier agitation. Meanwhile, a sharp dispute has broken out between Delhi Police and CGP founder Abhijeet Dipke over his detention. Police released video footage stating Dipke was offered full assistance to attend his grandmother's last rites, which he declined. In response, Dipke alleged police denied him access to his phone and legal counsel. Furthermore, both Dipke and YouTuber Dhruv Rathee contested claims regarding their release conditions, denying having signed any bonds restricting future protests. Amid the escalating tensions, the Supreme Court directed authorities to review security barricades, restore internet access, ensure public transport operations, and explore alternative designated protest sites across the national capital.

00:06CGP says that our leaders will go to the Parliament Street Police Station to get a date for a peaceful
00:12protest at Jantar Mantar.
00:14Says Delhi Police can give us a date for Jantar Mantar in 24 hours or we will give another protest
00:20call ourselves.
00:21So CGP will be seeking permission for a peaceful stir date.
00:25And the CGP has said that the cops should give us a stir date in 24 hours, else we will
00:31ourselves give another protest call.
00:34So earlier, remember, CGP was denied permission citing delayed application.
00:38Now the cops have cited CGP didn't adhere to the timeline.
00:42The CGP got an odd for one day.
00:44They staged stir for 30 days, which was earlier in July when we saw they were protesting against the then

01:10will otherwise give another protest call ourselves.
01:22So a clash of claims has also now erupted between Delhi Police and the CGP founder Abhijit Dipke over his
01:28detention.
01:29Delhi Police have released a video of its conversation with Dipke saying that he was informed about his grandmother's death
01:35and was offered all assistance to attend her last rites and speak to the family members.
01:40In the release video, Dipke declines the cops' offers of arranging transportation or calls, saying that he would rather stay
01:48and that speaking to his father would not be possible.
01:51Delhi Police have claimed that they cooperated with Dipke and have accused CGP leaders of not following rules and portraying
01:57the cops in a bad light.
01:59Dipke, however, has hit back accusing the police of refusing to give him his phone and denying him access to
02:05lawyers.
02:05He has described police personnel as goons in uniform with no humanity and asserted that he will not be intimidated
02:12by the Prime Minister or the Home Minister.
02:14Meanwhile, the BJP has taken a dig at CGP for changing its focus rapidly, saying that it has shifted from
02:22student issues to electoral politics in a mutation that was faster than radioactive decay.
02:29So, if you have done your mind, you have done your mind-wake-up, then you have to leave a
02:37bus or flight, then you have to leave a rent.

04:42Meanwhile, the CGP protest row is far from over
04:45and now the very terms of the protesters' release are being contested.
04:50CGP founder Abhijit Dipke claimed that he did not sign any bond
04:54restricting future protests, vowing to return to the streets
04:57and declaring that he will not be intimidated by the Prime Minister or the Home Minister.
05:02YouTuber Dhruv Rathi has also rejected claims of signing any bond.
05:06This comes amid conflicting accounts of the release conditions
05:09imposed on the detained CGP leaders.
05:11Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has stepped in, directing authorities
05:14to review Delhi's barricades, restore internet services,
05:18ensure public transport is not completely shut down
05:20and explore alternative sites for lawful protests.
05:26I have no sign of a bond, then we will get on the streets
05:29or Amitra and Modi, we will not be afraid of the people from the streets.
05:31We will not be afraid of one time or 100 times in jail.
