Exercise Indra-2026 brings together an Indian frigate and a Russian corvette for artillery drills, electronic warfare training and a shipboarding operation.
Russian and Indian warships conducted defence drills against aerial drones and unmanned vessels in Peter the Great Gulf, in the Sea of Japan. The activity formed part of the maritime phase of Exercise Indra-2026, scheduled for 16–17 October, and combined joint manoeuvres, artillery firing and a simulated operation to regain control of a civilian vessel.
