Containerized launch system can carry up to 18 loitering munitions and operate from HX trucks, trains or vessels
Rheinmetall has conducted a new test of the FV-014 loitering munition, this time demonstrating a feature that significantly increases the system's mobility: launching from a moving truck. The evaluation took place in July 2026 at the National Test Centre for Unmanned Aerial Systems in Cochstedt, in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt.
During the demonstration, a Containerized Missile Launcher (CML) was mounted on an HX-series military truck. The system carried out launches both while the vehicle was stationary and while it was moving, with the FV-014 units performing simulated mission and engagement profiles.
