00:00This little bottle presentation could save you hundreds of dollars.
00:03You've probably noticed that when you order a bottle of wine at a restaurant,
00:06especially a nicer restaurant, they are going to bring it over to present you the bottle of wine
00:09and show you the label before they go and open it.
00:12It's not just some pretty presentation for you to be like, oh, that looks cute.
00:15It's a moment for you to verify that what they've actually taken out of the cellar is indeed the wine
00:19you want.
00:20In a loud, busy restaurant, the waiter could have misheard you when you were ordering a bottle of wine
00:24or when you pointed to something on the wine list, it could have looked like you were pointing to something
00:27else.
00:28These two bottles look almost identical, but on a restaurant wine list, they could be almost $500 apart.
00:33So that's an error you really don't want to make.
00:35Make sure you check the producer, the wine name, the vintage.
00:38If that doesn't match up with exactly what you ordered, speak up before they open it.
