04:33Welcome to the Fro Wrestling Podcast.

04:35I'm so thankful that you are here.

04:37We are running down the top five candidates to be the fifth member of 946 to head into War Games.

04:46The reason we're doing this, I got a question from a listener, and unfortunately, if you're listening right now, you

04:52kept yourself anonymous.

04:54And I respect that.

04:55If you don't want your name out there, I get it.

04:57But whoever this person was asked me, they came up as anonymous, you know, what do I think?

05:01Who is going to be the fifth member?

05:03And is it going to be some kind of really boring booking decision?

05:06And I really had to think about this.

05:08Like, if you were really going to make a list of guys who could theoretically fill that fifth role for

05:13946 and be able to take on the bloodline.

05:15Because I think it's a pretty strong assumption that Roman Reigns, Jimmy and Jey Uso, Solo Sokoa, and Jacob Fatu

05:22are going to make up, obviously, the bloodline side of things.

05:25There is a possibility that that's not the case.

05:28And I'm going to get into that in just a minute.

05:30But we'll talk about who the five people who may be joining the 946.

05:34Who is the person who's going to take that last slot?

05:37We know that Carmelo Hayes filled spot number four this past week on Raw.

05:41That has gotten huge, huge reactions from the fans.

05:44And you have to follow that up.

05:46Whoever number five is going to be, it has to be huge.

05:49Now, I did see some comments in other shows that I'm very friendly with where somebody was saying, oh, well,

05:56what if they just put Jada Parker into war games and have Naomi be the foil for her on the

06:01bloodline side?

06:02I understand that mentality.

06:03But I will never believe that WWE is going to have a mixed gender war games match.

06:08There's too much that could go wrong.

06:10You know, they're going to be looking for high spots.

06:12I don't want to see any of the ladies get hit with something that's so devastating that they would potentially

06:16cause themselves permanent injury.

06:19So I don't foresee that being realistic.

06:22But obviously, I think Jada Parker will be at ringside.

06:25And I think the war games match itself is the perfect location for Naomi to return and attack Jada Parker

06:32on the outside of the cage, which could lead to the distraction that gives the bloodline the win.

06:37There's a flip side to that conversation is I don't think the bloodline should win.

06:41If you look back at the history, they've lost one.

06:44All the other war games matches the bloodline have been in.

06:46They win.

06:49So going into this year, let's talk about the five people who theoretically could fill that number five spot for

06:56this year and hopefully help 946 win the match so that we get an ongoing feudal situation where we could

07:04see Roman Reigns potentially facing off with Royce Keys for the World Heavyweight Championship.

07:11That could lead us all the way to the Royal Rumble.

07:13That's what I think is a smart move for WWE because with Roman Reigns' schedule and the lack of importance

07:20of who his opponents are until we get to Obafemi, this is a way you can keep him relevant, keep

07:26the World Championship relevant, keep him on television, but also not have to water down and make everything so predictable.

07:33Royce Keys doesn't have to win the World Heavyweight Championship to have a great series of matches with Roman Reigns

07:39that are hard-hitting, schmazz endings, things like that.

07:43So that being said, let's get into our list.

07:45We have five talents.

07:46I'm going to start with who I think is the least likely to join.

07:50And this follows a train of thought, right?

07:53So when you bring Carmelo Hayes in, you bring up talents from NXT to start 946 to begin with.

08:00I think if you look at that theme to it, it's the young guys, the newer guys.

08:06So who do you bring up if you wanted to bring somebody else that's new and fresh to Raw to

08:11be a part of this?

08:12They would fit kind of the, I don't want to say the appearance, but kind of the appearance of the

08:17group.

08:18So let's start with the least likely.

08:20I think the least likely, but on my list, coming in at number five, is Cruz Montana.

08:25Yes, he's a babyface.

08:26Yes, he's in NXT.

08:28Yes, he's the huge signing from TNA Wrestling.

08:30But at some point, you know that they're going to be paying him main roster money.

08:35And if that's the case, they're going to want to get him up there as soon as they possibly can.

08:38Cruz Montana has a history of being able to do all sorts of crazy stuff in cage matches,

08:45stadium stampedes and AEW, stuff like that.

08:48I think he would obviously have the moves set.

08:51He's got the skills.

08:52He's got the experience.

08:54And I really feel like he would fit the group.

08:56I really do.

08:57I think they present more of a streetwise persona, which, and that's not me trying to be stereotypical.

09:03It just is.

09:04They come across as streetwise street fighters rather than skilled technicians, catches, catch can wrestlers.

09:09I think he would fit in greatly.

09:11However, if you do that, you kind of snuff out the possibility of an incredibly over babyface

09:18when he does come to the main roster as a babyface.

09:21And I think that's something that WWE is going to need to think about.

09:24We know that there are certain guys who are in the business right now that are at an advanced age

09:28and they can't be there forever.

09:29So you've got to start building some of your megastars to replace those stars.

09:33Cruz Montana could be one of those.

09:35He really, really could.

09:36He's that good of a talent.

09:37So even though I haven't won the list at number five, I don't think it's overly likely.

09:44Let's just go with that.

09:45Let's say overly likely.

09:46From there, coming in at number four, this one's going to be a little more controversial,

09:51but it's Jacob Fatu.

09:53Now, I said earlier that Fatu would be on the bloodline side, and I said there was one possibility

09:57they could change that up.

10:00The possibility would be that Jacob turns on the bloodline because they haven't really listened

10:05to him the whole time.

10:06He didn't really want to be with Roman to begin with.

10:08He goes over to the 9-4-6.

10:10The bloodline is left shorthanded.

10:12You could have the 9-4-6 go in with their crew of five.

10:15The bloodline goes out with four, and the fifth member for the bloodline could be a call-up

10:20of Zilla Fatu.

10:22This could be the catalyst to bring another bloodline member to the main roster.

10:26Let's be honest.

10:27Since arriving in NXT, Zilla has been killing it.

10:30He's a phenomenal talent.

10:31That family, man, their gene pool when it comes to skills in the ring, it is unmatched.

10:37I know there's a lot of royal families, as Cody Rhodes liked to reference in professional

10:41wrestling, and I'm not disagreeing with that.

10:44However, there's nothing like the bloodline.

10:47These, and I'm not talking about the ones on TV.

10:49I'm talking about the entire lineage of this family dynasty, and I think Zilla needs to

10:54be on the main roster sooner than later.

10:56He is so smooth, especially for as young as he is.

11:00I just think he could do so much, and if you brought Zilla up to be the member of the

11:04bloodline and had Jacob go join 9-4-6, again, Jacob fits with that mentality of the group.

11:10He and Royce Keys have, they keep talking about their family history and stuff like that.

11:15Could be very interesting.

11:16Again, though, I really feel like Jacob, after getting run over with a car, not that they

11:21haven't done crazy stuff like that in the past, but after getting run over with the car, I

11:25just don't feel this one.

11:27That's why it comes in at number four.

11:29Coming in at number three goes back to the earlier conversation I had about NXT superstars

11:35being called to the main roster who could fit into this very, very well.

11:40And that next person at number three is Tony D'Angelo.

11:43Tony D has been so long overdue for a main roster call-up, and if you were paying attention

11:48to the news this week, there was conversation about him being frustrated about not being

11:52called up the main roster.

11:53And, you know, there was another article out about Triple H maybe not seeing anything in

11:58him at the main roster or not filling the need that he has in the main roster.

12:02Well, what if all of that is conjecture just to throw us off the path?

12:06Kind of like Carmelo Hayes' Twitter feed that went black, what if all of this is a ruse so

12:13that we don't expect to see Tony D show up for war games?

12:16I think, again, he'd fit right into the mold of the group.

12:19I think, you know, his past, like, mafia perception, persona would really be helpful for them.

12:26His look right now is he looks like a fighter, a street fighter.

12:30So I think he would be an absolute, like, lock and key fit for this.

12:36The only drawback there is it's not bigger than Carmelo.

12:41It's just not.

12:42Now, look, if you're a diehard, like, if you're listening to this show, right, you have to

12:46be a diehard fan.

12:47Not a lot of Fly By Night fans listen to my show.

12:49If you're a diehard wrestling fan, you probably look at this and you go, well, here's the thing.

12:55He could, he's, he's a huge name in NXT, but how many people in the mainstream know all

13:01about NXT?

13:02There are times when NXT talents come to the main roster and nobody has a clue who they

13:06are.

13:07That's problematic because WWE may have three brands, technically four if you count Evolve

13:12at this point, but that doesn't mean that everybody tunes into the, to the C-level brand.

13:16So if Tony D were to come up, he should have come up at number four and Carmelo should have

13:21been the five.

13:22Since they didn't do that order, I don't foresee them bringing Tony D up and filling

13:27that role because he would be a, almost a letdown because he wouldn't be as big a shock

13:32as Carmelo was.

13:33Let's move on to number two.

13:35Number two on my list.

13:37I, I don't want to say it, but it makes a lot of sense.

13:40He hates the bloodline.

13:42He's gotten shafted by the bloodline for a long, long time.

13:45He has a vehement hatred there.

13:48And that would be LA Knight.

13:50LA Knight, now that he's done with his program with Roman, he lost his world championship

13:54opportunity.

13:55He could be bitter.

13:56He can flip the script, go heel.

13:58He's been a heel before.

14:00And he could align with 946 just so he could exact some, some revenge on the bloodline for

14:06all the time that he's, he waited for his championship opportunity.

14:09And now it's gone and he could blame them for not be having a better opportunity sooner

14:13or something of that nature.

14:15I don't know.

14:15But LA Knight is a big enough star and a big enough shock that it would, it would trump the

14:21Carmelo Hayes reveal and it would solidify that team with a main event level player.

14:26Here's the problem.

14:28He's a cash cow.

14:30He sells merchandise.

14:31He's over like Rover, man.

14:33Everybody loves LA Knight.

14:34Like that's why people were so upset that he wasn't going to get a world championship

14:38run.

14:39So if that's the case, I don't think you, you already didn't give him the world championship

14:43run.

14:43Don't take him from the fans also and turn him heel.

14:46So as much as I think he makes a lot of sense, I just don't see them pulling the trigger

14:51on

14:51that because they don't want to lose the merch sales.

14:54And, and that's right now all TKO seems to care about.

14:58So that brings me to my number one candidate to be the fifth member of war games.

15:03And this one should not come as a surprise.

15:06A few weeks ago, maybe a week ago, there was a report out that Drew McIntyre is ready to

15:12come back.

15:13They're already talking about creative plans for him.

15:16But the thing was, is when he spoke about it, he said he's worried about Hollywood Drew

15:21right now.

15:21He's doing movies right now.

15:23He'll come back at some point.

15:24He talked about how he's walking around at 285 pounds, jacked up and all this stuff.

15:29And that all sounds great, but it also could all be there for a reason to throw us all

15:33off from the fact that he's planning to come back and join 946, not as a full fledged member

15:39as a member of their war games team, much like he did a couple of years ago when he helped

15:44the judgment day.

15:45I don't love that scenario because I feel like you should be somebody who really would fit

15:49with the group.

15:50He's the one guy I'm suggesting who I don't believe fits with the group at all.

15:54He doesn't look like a thugged out street fighter.

15:58He looks like a world-class athlete.

16:01I mean, all these guys are, but he's got that look.

16:04He's a Hollywood star right now, you know, all that stuff.

16:07Like I just, I don't think that's the best decision in terms of that.

16:11But when it comes to somebody who can go, who wants to get a match with Roman, who deserves

16:16to have a match with Roman at this point, who has never really gotten to have that closure

16:21with Roman Reigns, this could be how you get Drew McIntyre back into the world championship

16:26picture and then have that go on.

16:28And he could be the one who faces Roman at the Royal Rumble.

16:30You could have Keyes in December.

16:32You can have him at the Rumble.

16:33And that takes us all the way through to the Obafemi conversation for WrestleMania.

16:37I think Drew McIntyre at number one on this list is the most likely wrestler to become

16:43number five for the 946.

16:44But it doesn't matter what I think.

16:46What matters is what you think.

16:48So do me a favor.
