00:00Parts of the northeast are going from 80s and 90s earlier this week to snowflakes this weekend.
00:05Much colder air pours in behind Friday's storms, and Saturday could be the coldest day we've had in months.
00:10Highs will range from the 30s in the Adirondacks and the Green and White Mountains to the 50s in D
00:14.C.
00:14And with the wind, AccuWeather, Real Field temperatures Saturday morning will range from the 20s across much of New York
00:19State
00:19to the mid-40s in New York City and Philadelphia.
00:22Now, cold air moving over the Great Lakes will also trigger some lake effect rain and snow showers, but don't
00:27get too excited.
00:28The best chance to actually see wet snow is across the higher elevations of north-central Pennsylvania, New York, and
00:33northwestern New England.
00:34A few spots could pick up a little bit of small, slushy coating on non-paved surfaces, but we're not
00:40really expecting much accumulation.
00:41And the cold shot does not last long.
00:43Even by Sunday, temperatures rebound closer to historical averages.
