00:21appeals to the protesters as well as the general public not to join such assemblies.
00:27Delhi Police now claiming they will facilitate a group of 11 persons carrying the national flag and the singing of
00:33the national anthem at a suitable place.
00:37The CJP is saying this is a clear attempt to restrict their protest and they will go ahead with their
00:43planned protest.
00:44Shreya Chatterjee is now joining me. Shreya, the High Court gave permission to the Kokhrut Janta Party to hold this
00:51protest.
00:51Now you've got the Delhi Police putting in restrictions and shutting down Connaught Place for two days.
00:59So we are now heading into another possible confrontation between the police and the CJP.
01:04What preparations are being made? We are told once again Metro stations for example could be shut.
01:10Well absolutely Rajdeep you know because Delhi Police has cited droid kishnari orders of section 163 implemented in and around
01:17the adjoining regions of Connaught Place.
01:20We will see the similar exercise being carried out that we have already seen Delhi Police doing.
01:25Shutting down of metros could be a possibility but there will be forces on the ground to ensure that such
01:30mobilisation is not allowed.
01:32And they have also said that they know that there is a mobilisation happening under the call of CJP with
01:37support from the Ahmad Dhi Party as well as per the permission they have already got for requesting.
01:42So clearly the Delhi Police will do the same that is clear because they have also cited that there was
01:48an October 14 writ petition because of which they have to follow order to ensure there is safety and security
01:53to the people of Delhi as well.
01:54So we will not see any difference in the kind of clash that we have already seen with the Delhi
01:59Police and the CJP.
