00:06Hi everyone and welcome on Seagree TV with our new guest. We are with Annie Nureddin.
00:12Hello. Hi. Thanks for being with us. You are in the NGM Seagree Canada.
00:17Can you give the audience a basic understanding of your position in Canada?
00:23Perfect. So firstly I would like to thank Seagree for inviting me to speak about my experiences
00:29and also to thank my company Hatch for having me here at Seagree Paris.
00:34So my journey with Seagree started in 2021 when I was an undergrad
00:40and I was doing an internship and got introduced to Seagree.
00:44So over the last three years I've been involved in different capacities,
00:50not only in Seagree Canada but also at the International Executive Committee.
00:55And my role started as a marketing and communications lead where I created the first Seagree Canada newsletter series.
01:07And then subsequently I moved to the events and sponsorship lead where I was helping organize the NGN events,
01:15the reception and the panel at the Seagree Canada conferences.
01:19And then I moved on to Electra which is the digital magazine for Seagree where I represent NGNs
01:28and act as a liaison between the global NGN community and the Electra board where I source more articles and
01:38ensure NGN representation.
01:39A lot of things. Perfect. Thank you for this presentation about your role in Canada.
01:44And to stay in Canada, how can you say about the young engineers in Canada, the dynamic of the young
01:52engineers in Canada in the power field system?
01:55So, Canada's power system industry is changing and is evolving very rapidly and this offers an opportunity for NGNs to
02:06participate and bring their insights
02:08and Seagree Canada is doing a great job providing that opportunity.
02:12We recently launched a mentorship program. We host a lot of webinars throughout the year and we are also planning
02:22to set up university chapters to ensure more engagement between NGN and the global Seagree community.
02:30Thank you very much for the interview. I hope you will have a good session here in Paris.
02:36Thank you so much.
