00:00Alright, I'm joined by a new Bombers draftee, Rhys Unwin. Rhys, mate, how are you feeling?

00:06Yeah, I'm not really sure to be honest. It's a bit of a shock, I don't really know how to feel to be honest with you.

00:13I'm over the moon, I can't believe it.

00:15Were you a bit worried there or were you confident you were going to get picked up because you went at 61?

00:19Yeah, I was definitely worried. I had no clue Essendon were going to pick me up at 61.

00:26When the pick actually came up I started looking around and I was thinking about wandering off to be honest.

00:32I wasn't even looking to tell you when I got called out and didn't even know who picked me up at the time.

00:38Everyone went off when I heard your name and then I look up and see it was Essendon.

00:44Yeah, I couldn't believe it.

00:46How was the reaction at home?

00:48Yeah, unbelievable.

00:50I think everyone was a bit shocked like I said.

00:52We weren't too sure what was going to happen when it got to Essendon to pick 61.

00:56Probably weren't really expecting it.

00:58When it happened everyone just went crazy for jumping on top of me.

01:02Everyone was in a bit of shock to be honest.

01:05Tell me more about what it means. This is your childhood dream, you've worked so hard for this.

01:10It's everything.

01:12It means so much to me.

01:14It's always been a dream of mine.

01:16For it to finally happen, it's unbelievable.

01:20I can't believe it.

01:22Is there anyone in the Bombers you're looking forward to playing alongside?

01:24Yeah, I'm looking forward to catching up with Zachy Merritt.

01:26That'd be pretty cool.

01:28I obviously come from the Bombers so that'd be awesome.

01:30Lamon Lois got picked up from the Rebels last year.

01:34I played a bit with him so that'd be cool to see him.

01:38I just can't make it in a club to be honest.

01:40It's going to be unbelievable.

01:42I'm looking forward to it.

01:44And you get to stay in the Bombers cars too, that's always nice.

01:46Yeah, it is cool.

01:48My young cousin went and raided my pantry straight after.

01:52Chucked a couple Bombers gurneys on.

01:56What does the support mean for you back here tonight when you walked in that room?

02:00Everyone went crazy.

02:04It takes me by no surprise.

02:06The Commonwealth Football Club have been so good to me since I've ever been here.

02:10Since day one they've been nothing short of outstanding.

02:14It doesn't stop being all the turnout at Cotty.

02:20I can't thank them enough.

02:22Have you received a call from anyone yet?

02:24Yeah, the Welf.

02:26I can't remember who it was that actually called me from Essendon.

02:28Talked to him for a bit and had a chat to me.

02:30I haven't actually looked at my phone since I've been up here.

02:34So I'll probably have a look at that in case the coach calls me or something.

02:38And Scotty Lukes is your manager too?

02:40That's another connection to the club.

02:42Yeah, that's true. I haven't even had time to think about it to be honest.

02:44He just gave me a ballot and I missed out so I'm going to call him back soon.

02:48So yeah, I'm sure he'll be right.
