00:00uh but it is the season's first tie the reason why it's the first tie well jayden daniels and
00:05the commanders forgot how to play football and john i will say this this was one of the most
00:10obvious this sequence that happened at the end of the commanders giants game where jayden daniels
00:15didn't know the time and it ran out this was the first time like first real time there's been
00:21moments for me where i'm like oh is he gambling this guy like betting against the team this was
00:25the first time the real time where i was like jayden daniels bet against his own team or the
00:30commanders bet again or something's rigged here that's the only explanation i can come up with
00:35for an nfl football team to pull what the what jay daniels and the commanders did
00:41i think the fastest way to get your coach fired is to do what jayden daniels did
00:48i jayden day a lot of people say oh he's just he's only been in the league three years he's
00:52even heard jayden mcdaniel's been playing football his entire life yes his entire adult life to be
00:59100 sure and probably most of his teens and most of his teens and the entirety of his adult life
01:05he's
01:05played quarterback so for him to not know time and score felt very criminal and i'm a huge fan of
01:15jayden
01:15daniels what we saw from him needs to be investigated from a standpoint of how did this happen you've got
01:24a radio in your headset that i think was the tackle who said in a press conference they were told
01:30the
01:30situation in the huddle so he knew because he related someone related to him he related to them
01:39and he didn't do it so i chalked this up as just a simple brain fart and what you really
01:47learn about
01:47a lot of these players is when they get in situations where they just have to think you kind of
01:52really see
01:52where they're at mentally and i don't know if it's the arm and him not playing last week or him
01:58just
01:58being tired whatever it was he laid on the ground he stayed on the ground like they had a timeout
02:04yeah but he knew they didn't because he told everybody else in the huddle that they didn't
02:09so none of it made sense the fact he didn't just throw the ball away a lot of what he
02:14did made
02:14absolutely no sense it was about as dumb as cam scataboo taking off his gloves in the rain
02:19to play running back and then fumbling the ball a couple players that aren't the brightest uh as you
02:27can tell um well hey listen maybe he was trying to avoid the number five or something i don't know
02:32you know he had that whole weird thing with him at number five uh listen i he kind of deflected
02:38after
02:39the game he was like well we got to relay that as it starts you know everybody top down it's
02:45like he
02:46was blaming the play callers and like everyone that was telling him the plays and and the you know
02:52the head coach it's like bro i don't need a head coach i didn't have a head coach on my
02:57couch when i
02:58was watching it telling me that i should throw the ball out of bounds like everybody that was
03:02watching even if you barely know football it's like you probably shouldn't let the clock run out
03:07you should probably stop it here even the announcers for the commanders were losing their mind on the
03:13radio here's an indication that he was told because the head coach's reaction to the play lets you know
03:22he was told whatever they told him he knew they probably said hey man real quick if you don't
03:28have anything throw it out of bounds well the thing is even if he even if he wasn't told if
03:35you have
03:35been playing the the position of quarterback for as long as jayden daniels has been and i'm not saying
03:41the nfl i'm saying in college in period at all high school you know that situation you know that you
03:49have to check the timeouts you have to get your guys ready you have to be on point in that
03:54part of
03:54the game and you have to know the time and the clock management it's this isn't just something
04:00that's like oh wow i didn't know that rule this is basic football and he can't tell you if this
04:06is a
04:06top-down mistake nah buddy this is a you mistake yes and when a guy and this is this gives
04:12you insight
04:13on how he perceives himself within that organization that he can't take personal responsibility for what
04:21he did if he was a real leader of that team he's a face of that franchise but if he
04:28was a true leader
04:29of that team he'd have sat there at that press conference and said you know what that probably
04:33it might be the dumbest thing i've ever done on the football field that's totally on me as a
04:38quarterback i've got to make better decisions and then and then you just move on and call the dumb
04:43play but when you go this is a top-down thing buddy people start looking at you sideways in that
04:50building and that is not what you want as a quarterback of his caliber he is a great player
04:55but sometimes these guys need some personal maturity to to help them become better people
05:01this sounds like somebody who is really coddled this sounds like a coddled individual who can't
05:09take responsibility for his mistakes i i had a great game he had a great game he had a his
05:17ability to
05:18run the ball is michael vick level not speed but his his feel for when to take off and how
05:26to dodge
05:26guys is at a level that you rarely see in this game but i knew he was a poor decision
05:33maker when i
05:34watched him at a usc game sit next to juju walkins and then his mother comes out of nowhere and
05:41now
05:41she's sitting between them so that lets me know he cannot make decisions for himself
05:46so
