00:00Here is Dan Campbell on having to deal with Daniels on Saturday night.

00:04He is dangerous. He's dangerous.

00:08He poses a major threat.

00:11He does not play the position like a rookie quarterback.

00:15He's composed.

00:18He understands how to progress. He sees the field well.

00:22He can buy time with his legs. He's a dangerous runner.

00:28He's smart. He's smart. You can tell.

00:31He understands how to run that offense, what they're asking him to do.

00:34And then he's got weapons. He's got weapons around him.

00:37His receiver is pretty dang good. 17 is a hell of a player.

00:41He's got a good back. He's got more than one receiver.

00:44Urch is a tight end. I mean, they've got weapons.

00:47The whole line plays hard.

00:50But he's a difference maker.

00:53Listen, I'll say this much for him.

00:56Without a doubt, he's a badass.

00:59And I think he's got an edge that he's played in this game against Tampa on Sunday night.

01:05And that he's going to play again against Detroit right off of that.

01:09I think there's somewhat of an advantage for the Chiefs and Lions having to be given that extra time to get healthy.

01:18But I think there's a disadvantage in not playing.

01:21I don't buy. Look at the college football playoff.

01:24All those teams with buys lost.

01:27They all lost. They didn't play that first game.

01:32And then they got beat.

01:34And all I know is that I think the Lions are at that small disadvantage.

01:40I think Jaden Daniels has an edge that he's already played in a huge game and succeeded triumphantly.

01:47And now gets to go play the best team in the NFC for sure.

01:52And maybe the best team in the NFL.

01:54People would argue that because the Chiefs went 15-2.

01:58But the Chiefs won every game by one score.

02:02It's like they didn't care about anything else. Just get us the dub and get us out of here.

02:05The Lions actually kick people's asses.

02:08The Chiefs don't kick anyone's ass.

02:10So some people would say the Lions are the best team in the NFL.

02:13But I'm not that stupid.

02:15When you're a dynasty and all you do is win Super Bowls, that's all that matters.

02:19The Lions, they talk big, but they don't win anything.

02:23They were up 24 points in the NFC title game and they lost.

02:27They're the biggest chokers I've seen, the Falcons and them, that I've ever seen in my life.

02:32You're up 24 in a title game and you lose.

02:35You're a piker.

02:37I don't care what anybody says.

02:39Your head coach blew it with all of his crappy decisions.

02:42Now, I got all my friends in Detroit saying they're going to the Super Bowl.

02:46And I said, yeah, I'll probably see them down in New Orleans

02:49when sports grid's there setting the standard as usual at media row.

02:53But I think that they're at a disadvantage a little bit this week

02:57that Jayden Daniels is coming in there piping hot.

03:03He is. And look, this is a big spot for Daniels.

03:07Take a look around.

03:08I mean, there's eight teams left.

03:10Look at these other quarterbacks that are left.

03:12You know, Goff, Hurts, Stafford, Allen, Mahomes, Lamar Jackson.

03:18Like, this is a big stage for a rookie quarterback that he's going to be on on Saturday night.

03:25I hope it's a fun game because we haven't had many of them here in the playoffs so far.

03:30And I do think you're right.

03:32There could be a little initial out of the gate.

03:35And that's what I was kind of trying to say before with the Chiefs.

03:37Like, they're just going to show up after not playing for a month and blow this team out?

03:41Maybe.

03:43But I think the same with the Lions.

03:45I think it's going to take a little while to get some footing,

03:47especially after Washington just played so well on Sunday night against Tampa.

03:51This is 9 1⁄2 right now on a Tuesday.

03:55Nine and a hook and 55 1⁄2.

03:59I mean, that is a big total for a playoff game

04:02considering five out of six playoff games have been under so far.

04:05Yeah, I'm not going over.

04:07And I also think it's too many points for Jayden Daniels.

04:11You can't give Jayden Daniels 9 1⁄2 points.

04:13I bet they score first.
