00:00I'm not interested in crypto wallets or squabbles among thieves.
00:02I'm interested in who kidnaps Steve.
00:04The guy in this photo, he wear a pajama.
00:06I'm right about Warren though, aren't I?
00:08I'm wanting me out of way.
00:09Because you're never going to have what I've got.
00:11You're feeling guilty about James getting the blame.
00:13I've done nothing for that man.
00:14This was me.
00:15Just stay away from me.
00:16Oi, Leah!
00:17Leah!
00:53Leah!
00:54Leah!
00:56Leah!
00:57Right, come on, Leah.
00:57Come on, I need you to wake up for me.
01:00What happened?
01:01She just, she slipped.
01:03What is she?
01:07She's breathing, she's still alive, but you need to wrink it up your legs now.
01:12Lucas, come on.
01:13Lucas!
01:14What are you doing?
01:15I appreciate you coming.
01:17And Leah got two.
01:19You probably just wanted some time on a roll.
01:20Well, it's a lot to process, isn't it?
01:24Help!
01:25Please, can somebody help?
01:29Yeah, she's breathing.
01:30I've checked her airwaves, but I can't wake her up.
01:34Leah!
01:35Leah!
01:35No, no, no, no.
01:37What's happened?
01:37She's fallen down the stairs.
01:39What?
01:39No.
01:39No, this cannot be happening, Ms. Burr.
01:41Yeah, Ms. Burr, take a look.
01:43You did the right thing checking her airwaves.
01:45Right, I've got two doctors here with me now.
01:47How long's the ambulance going to be?
01:48Did you hear that?
01:50You're saying it's going to be a 30-minute delay?
01:52Give me the phone.
01:54This is Dr. Johnson from Dee Valley Hostel.
01:56I'm here with Dr. Malek.
01:57Her breathing is shallow, but rapid.
01:59Her pulse is over 120.
02:00She could be going into shock.
02:01She could have internal bleeding.
02:03She might not have 30 minutes.
02:08Ms. Burr, I think Lucas did this.
02:12I think he pushed her down the stairs.
02:40What's wrong with you?
02:41What makes you think there's anything wrong?
02:43In my experience, people don't usually sit in the dark on their own, drinking for no reason.
02:50Feeling guilty by any chance?
02:53I know about you and Gemma.
02:58It was a stupid mistake.
03:05Okay.
03:08So, where is he?
03:11Where's who?
03:13Steve.
03:14What are you talking about?
03:18What are you talking about?
03:20I'm talking about sleeping with Gemma.
03:25I had a tip-off that this man, Carl Brickford, also known as Brick, was working for Gemma.
03:32He was photographed following Steve at a shopping centre.
03:35What, you think Gemma's got something to do with Steve's disappearance?
03:40Well, that's nothing to do with me.
03:41Really?
03:42Because that same source told me that you were working for Gemma too.
03:46And we both know that your history with Steve gives you a motive.
03:50Look, Dodger, I might have thought about it, but I've learned to live with what Steve did to Ella.
03:58And I am not working with Gemma.
04:00The only thing that I've got time for is keeping my son alive and Mercedes happy.
04:09And it sounds like you should give Gemma a wide berth.
04:14Keep the details of this conversation to yourself.
04:17Yeah, of course.
04:19And I can rely on you to do the same, right?
04:22I can't lose Mercedes, Dodger.
04:26I've no idea what you're talking about.
04:35She's been unresponsive with rapid, shallow breathing and a pulse of 120.
04:41How did this even happen?
04:43Tell them what you told me, Frankie.
04:49Well, I don't know for sure, but when I found Leah at the bottom of the steps, Lucas was at
04:55the top.
04:56What, you think he pushed her?
04:58When I asked him for help, he just ran off.
05:00What?
05:01Maybe they had a fight.
05:04Gemma, were you the last person to speak to him? Was he all right? Did he say anything?
05:07No, he was fine. At least I thought he was.
05:10I'm just going to go check on that consultant.
05:12Oh, Gemma, you're meant to be ill, remember?
05:17I can help her. Just let me do this. Please.
05:20Hey, we need to call the police.
05:22Yeah, but we don't know for sure that he actually did push her down the stairs.
05:25Lucas has got a history of violence. I mean, he went to prison for assault and stay.
05:30I'm phoning the police.
05:39I can't come to the phone right now. Leave a message after the beat.
05:50You're going to have to charge me or let me go.
05:53I know how this works, remember?
05:54You'll also know that if you cooperate with us, tell us where he is so we can bring him home
05:58to his family,
06:00things will go better for you in court.
06:01This isn't going to go to court, because any fool can see I'm being set up.
06:08My super disagrees.
06:10James Nightingale.
06:12No, don't do this.
06:13You were charged on the 2nd of September at Hemingham Shopping Centre.
06:17You committed the offence of kidnap, contrary to common law.
06:21Please.
06:21You've done anything but I'm harming defence if you don't mention now something which you'll lay to rely on in
06:25court.
06:26Anything you do so will be given in evidence.
06:28Do you understand the charge, Mr. Nightingale?
06:35Someone else has done this.
06:39So you need to keep looking for Steve, because they have him.
06:46Yeah, well, you can't drive pots with soggy salads, can't you?
06:49So, let's get to the dogs to get some more.
06:51Yeah.
06:52I'll expect my remuneration package later, yeah?
06:55Alright, see you later.
06:58Why are you looking so pleased with yourself?
07:01Let's just say, of any biddy, Vici.
07:04I came, I saw, I conquered.
07:08Speaking of goals, where are you at with yours?
07:12I've had other stuff on my plate.
07:14Okay.
07:17I think it's important to remember, we had a deal, yeah?
07:21I helped you get rid of your murder charge.
07:23You helped me get rid of Warren.
07:25I'm working on it.
07:26Doing what, exactly?
07:28I'm regaining his trust.
07:30Oh, so now he's letting you see the kids again, you've gone soft.
07:33I hate Warren just as much as you do.
07:37Because whilst you've been playing happy families, I've been putting an actual plan together.
07:41So when the time comes, you better be ready to take him down.
07:45You're very confident.
07:46Ben, I wouldn't underestimate Warren if I were you.
07:49What makes you think you can underestimate me?
07:52I'm about to take everything from him.
07:55Benny, biddy, Vici.
07:58You know, things didn't end well for Julius Caesar.
08:26What's so important you couldn't tell me over the phone?
08:28I need your help.
08:29Are you serious?
08:30You told me that you helped my dad murder wreck instead of coming to me so that I could stop
08:34him.
08:34You're one of the reasons he's dead.
08:35I know, and I'll be trying to make it up to you.
08:37Right, I've been sending Gemma creepy messages, trying to mess with her head like she messed with your dads.
08:41Are you stupid?
08:42And James, he's going to prison for life now.
08:45So what?
08:45None of this is going to bring me my dad back.
08:49Haven't you learned anything?
08:51It's not your job to meet out justice.
08:54Innocent people get hurt.
08:56I know.
08:58I'm at my citizen hospital now.
08:59And it's my fault I need to get out of here.
09:06Thanks.
09:07Any news?
09:09No.
09:10Listen, I'm going to have to go soon.
09:12Please don't.
09:14Then that's where the scary eyes ask me to.
09:16I think they're trying to limit the normal relatives in the waiting room.
09:19I don't care what scary eyes says.
09:22If anybody asks, I'll just say you're my partner.
09:26Or would that be weird?
09:28What?
09:29Why would that be weird?
09:31Because you're not.
09:33I kind of wish you were.
09:40Tony.
09:42I think I'm falling in love with you.
09:46You need to see this.
09:48What is it?
09:50Someone's posted a meme of a drunk guy in Chester City Centre.
09:54No, no, Frankie.
09:55No, but what I mean is that it's not just a random guy.
10:09That's him.
10:10That's Steve.
10:15He's alive.
10:16When was it?
10:17It was yesterday.
10:18So message the person that posted it just to see if they had any more footage.
10:22Just tag me in a load more stuff.
10:30Is that a note he's passing?
10:32Yeah.
10:32I've taken a screenshot just to see if I could see anything.
10:35Swipe left.
10:36What's he doing?
10:39Does that say help me?
10:41Help.
11:09You still love her, don't you?
11:15I feel stupid, only realising that now.
11:22And I may never be able to tell her.
11:27She hurt you deeply.
11:31If you never wanted to speak to her again, I wouldn't blame you.
11:35Even now when she's...
11:43You're not stupid, Imran.
11:47You're gentle.
11:51Compassionate.
11:54Forgiving.
11:57And I love you for it.
12:07Tony, where are you going?
12:08That logo on the note, it's an insurance company.
12:10They've got offices in town, I'm going to go down there.
12:12Shall we take this to the police?
12:13Yeah, but they're all busy looking for Lucas right now.
12:15And why are they wasting time deciding whether to investigate or not?
12:18That video's going viral.
12:19The people that have got a hold of it are going to realise we're on to them.
12:21I'll come with you.
12:22No, no, you stay here.
12:23You look after Leah.
12:24I promise you, if he's there, I'll bring him back.
12:28I swear I didn't push her.
12:31And why did you run?
12:32I just panicked.
12:33I thought people would just blame me.
12:34Just go back and tell them the truth.
12:36I can't.
12:36You don't understand.
12:37Please, Zander, I just need somewhere to stay.
12:40I've got nothing.
12:42No one.
12:43Me and you, we're the same.
12:45I can't stay at mine.
12:47It's the third place the police are going to look.
12:48Okay.
12:50I know somewhere's safe.
12:52I need to nip back to the flat.
12:54Pick up some stuff.
12:55Okay?
12:56Just stay here.
12:57I won't be long.
12:59Thank you, pal.
13:00I owe you.
13:02I owe you one.
13:10Dodger!
13:11Have yous arrested her?
13:13So far, all I've got is hearsay.
13:15What?
13:16There's no proof that Gemma's done anything wrong.
13:18She's got no motive to mess with Steve and James.
13:19I told you, she won't have to stay.
13:22That brick was sent to the shopping centre for me.
13:27You really do have everyone told you, don't you?
13:30Nurse.
13:30Oh, give it up, Mercedes.
13:32I know that you want me out the picture.
13:33Yeah.
13:34But guess what?
13:35I'm here to stay, whether you like it or not.
13:37Yeah, you want to bet.
13:38No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
13:39Leave it, nurse.
13:40Yeah.
13:40Listen to your lap dog, Mercedes.
13:42Just let us do our job.
13:44If Gemma's got any questions to answer, then she'll do so down at the station.
13:46Yeah.
13:47It's going to take more than the rantings of a jealous cow before that happens.
13:51All right.
13:51Leave it.
13:52Jealous.
13:53Okay.
13:54You know all this?
13:55It's because she wants Warren.
13:58You sad.
13:59Sad.
14:00Witch.
14:01Leave it out.
14:02Yeah, go on.
14:03Keep walking.
14:12He had your notepad, so he's been here at some point.
14:14If you could just ask anyone if they've seen him, that would be...
14:17Yeah.
14:18Great.
14:18Thank you.
14:21What are you doing here?
14:22I could ask you the same thing.
14:24Don't give me that.
14:24I'm following up on a lead.
14:25And guess what?
14:26It's led me right to you.
14:27Yeah.
14:28The logo on the note.
14:30Well, you saw it too?
14:31Yeah, but Steve's not here.
14:33What?
14:33Well, he has to be.
14:34Well, he isn't.
14:35I searched the entire building.
14:36Well, how else would he get hold of a branded notepad?
14:38We give those notepads out like suites, conferences, business fairs.
14:43Hey, have we met before?
14:45You look really familiar.
14:46Not unless you've crashed your car before.
14:53He's not here, Tony.
14:55It's another dead end.
14:57Sorry.
15:03All right.
15:04Maybe.
15:05You found Lucas yet?
15:07No, but Frankie brought our attention to some social media posts.
15:11Now, we can't prove it from the quality of the images,
15:13but Steve might still be alive.
15:16What does that mean for James?
15:18Still runs to charge him for Kidna.
15:21What's the other lead you're following?
15:28Gemma was involved with the people who started those crypto wallets, right?
15:31The bloke who stabbed me.
15:33He was one of her crew.
15:35You had an off-the-record conversation with her about it, right?
15:39Yeah, she broke down when I questioned her.
15:41I, uh, didn't get anything useful.
15:47You can't really think that Gemma's involved in Steve's disappearance.
15:52What do you think?
16:02I should be getting back to the hospital.
16:10Then go.
16:11I mean, nothing is really going to be gained by drowning our sorrows in red wine, is it?
16:14I can't face Leila.
16:16I can't face Stella and I failed again.
16:18I gave her false hope when there was none.
16:20No, Steve is alive.
16:21He's in those videos.
16:22That's something.
16:24Yeah.
16:26Listen, Siena, I'm sorry about how I spoke to you when I first saw you at that office.
16:32You thought I'd done something to Steve.
16:34He's my best friend.
16:37You know what, don't worry about it.
16:39I'm used to people thinking the worst of me and, well, I've only got myself to blame.
16:45Well, what you did to Claire wasn't nothing.
16:49I didn't push her.
16:52She slipped.
17:00I'm a terrible person.
17:04Complicated.
17:05Misunderstood, not terrible.
17:08I know one thing.
17:10I know that Steve's lucky to have you by his side.
17:14Thanks.
17:20You know, I never understood it before.
17:22why so many women seem to fall at your feet.
17:25Are you nagging me?
17:27I don't know.
17:28Is it working?
17:48Still interested in doing a job?
17:51Maybe.
17:52Why?
17:53I've got one lined up.
17:55A nice juicy one.
17:57Should be enough to get us both a one-way ticket out of this dump.
18:00And why would you want to do that?
18:01Because, Warren, I'm getting a little tired of your missus accusing me of things.
18:06In fact, you're lucky I don't knock her down a peg or two and tell her about us.
18:18There is no us.
18:22You know, Mercedes is my whole world.
18:24And if you do anything, and I mean anything to destroy her, I will finish you.
18:31Now get the hell out of here.
18:43You sure you don't want to lie?
18:47I don't care what happens to me.
18:49You need to know the truth about Rhett Scallagher, Gemma Johnson, and Lucas Hay.
18:56My dad is dead because of what they did to him.
19:00And I'm done keeping quiet.
19:02I'm not protecting Lucas anymore.
19:04It's time they all paid.
19:26I'm not protecting you.
19:50It's time they all paid.
19:53It's time they all paid.
19:58It's time they all paid.
